Every Christmas when my family sits down for dinner we set a place for a fallen soldier or one that can not be home for the holidays and light a candle for them. It makes my boys feel like we have a very special guest for dinner. I encourage all families to do this because it means alot to us and makes my boys feel like they are remembering the ones that can not make it home to celebrate with their families.
