My father is a survivor of 1968-69 Tet offensive. He was heavily exposed to A.O. and suffers from Hypertension caused by Diabetes. I suffer from Epilepsy and my family swears it is from his A.O. exposure. The government hasn't approved it. Yes I sign this petition to help the VVA. I always will.

My husband haad lung cancer which they contributed to agent orange. He had to have the upper left lobe of his lung and two ribs removed. This left him unable to work. The V A gave him 100% disability for a year and excelent care but after a year they cut his benifits in half and says he is only 50% disable....the lung don't grow back even though he is cancer free at present time he still gets out of breath with exerction. This apparently is not a new problem - did Bush Sr. or Bush Jr. do a better job in taking care of our veterans? If so, why would we still be talking about this today - apparently they too failed in that regard. Why did the republicans kill the veterans bill, leaving even McCain flabbergasted? I feel for everybody who suffers from this toxin (and other war-related problems), and am not a big fan of Obama either (though I consider myself a liberal), because Obama put all the executives of the...

I feel for everybody who suffers from this toxin (and other war-related problems), and am not a big fan of Obama either (though I consider myself a liberal), because Obama put all the executives of the companies that made Agent Orange into high ranking positions in our government (FDA, etc.) and they now want to use 2-4d, part of A.O's formulation into use on our own farmlands. I don't see this as a partisan issue.

Faye I went through the same exact surgery related to AO as your husband. Upper left lobe and ribs removed. Because of residual pain from the surgery I haven't been able to work either. After more than 2 years I recieved a 10% rating. After 5 years the VA upped it to 20%. My papers went through San Diego. I met another vet who had the same exact surgery and was rated 100%. His papers went through the VA in Los Angeles. So we have three of us with the same procedure and results and three completely different ratings. Why?

I have fought this battle for years and I was in-country. I have been treated for two different types of cancer both directly connected to exposure to Agent Orange/Green. Just last year they finally gave me the treatment I needed. I have had radiation treatments and I go back in on the 8th to get my final exam. But guys and girls you must be persistent and don't let the paperwork get in the way. Please stay focused, Obama will never cut benefits to illegals but he sure as hell with cut ours....

So we need as many vets as possible to make sure if they have proof they were exposed they need to start now, right now.

Now i'm getting paid for it, but no amount of money will bring him back. I want you all to know, My hubby Danny A. As my husband is a very sick Vet with recurring liposarcoma (mutiple diseases, 21 surgeries and 4 chemo programs now) due to exposure to Agent Orange (AO) on Johnston Island and geting 0% from VA for it, we are asking for your help in getting the US Congress to step up to the plate and finally force VA into doing the right thing. AO alters our DNA, destroys our immune system and affects our children & grandchildren, so we will never get well.

We have been lied to by Congress for Years and the AO Equity Bills have been started every time there is an election, but never acted upon just so they can continue furthering their own agenda. Please help by bringing this to all the major media outlets and signing our petition.

Keep in mind that Monsanto and Dow are using 3 of the same chemicals used in DDT and AO in the GMO seeds that provides our food supply sprayed with Roundup and pesticides. USDA is blessing these GMO seeds.

something has to be done, I have 1 relative that has allready died from agent orange. I also have a cousin that has had to have a kidney transplant and it comes from a cancer that has come from agent orange. He is going to need a miracle as I just heard that he is having problems again. He has 5 grown children and a wife. I want to see him live longer.
This is wrong, having exposed or Vet.'s to this stuff.

I signed the petition too - but why pick on Feinstein & Boxer when the entire republican caucus killed the veterans bill?
