self defense courses should be made available to everyone on campuses. in fact I would like to see it become a compulsory program. of course that will not happen.... too bad it has to come to this though. I would like to see a KRAV MAGA self defense course for women especially begun and at no charge. I am a long time practitioner and it is a VERY effective process.
it's not the be all however it will give one an advantage and a chance to avoid injury, believe me.

It should. But most martial arts instructors will tell you, the best way to win a fight is to avoid one, another words, run (if you can). But otherwise it's better to hand over your phone than get into a fight against an armed person with nothing but your fist. For girls though the issue is more complicated as they may be more easily overpowered.

Students should be able to attend schools paying for the right to an education while being kept safe.

Nowadays, the only place that maybe safe is the cemetery. People working in the government are getting lazy and less idealistic. Most of the times, they follow our leaders, more talk!

The best and quickest suggestion yet, a uniformed police officer at every school. Put it in the budget, but put the officer in now!!!

This is so sad my prayers go out to all the families affected by this tragedy I also blame the United States for this because there are a lot of kids growing up in our society that they don't pay attention to they shut them out after they graduate with an iep and make them feel like this system has no use for them and most parent don't realize what they are doing to these children but me as a parent with a child with an emotional disorder and I hope now that this has happen they start...

This is so sad my prayers go out to all the families affected by this tragedy I also blame the United States for this because there are a lot of kids growing up in our society that they don't pay attention to they shut them out after they graduate with an iep and make them feel like this system has no use for them and most parent don't realize what they are doing to these children but me as a parent with a child with an emotional disorder and I hope now that this has happen they start helping other children like the killer go to college and make a part of our society and stop shutting them out. I fear for my child growing up in the school system he gets teased and bullied a lot and being told by the dean of the school a few days ago because I was worried my child is starting to get angry she said maybe this is not the school for him. How dear you I think they need better training in the board of Ed with these school deans teachers and principals on how to deal with children like the killer from a young age and the system need to pay more attention to them. And they always say they are crazy or mentally Ill well society should have noticed it when they were 5-10 years old again rip to all the victims of this tradegy so sad
