Some people just don't understand life and how we are stewards over the creatures of this planet. If we fail to learn, there will be consequences. Systematic butchering of animals as a hobby or a sport is not what God had in mind when he put us in charge. Recently a hunt was sponsored by a gun shop to see who could kill the most coyotes in a day. Some folks just have hate running through their veins.

City people? Us country folk don't either! Who needs to kill and eat a wolf? Let alone most animals! We can go buy meat at the store. Killing for sport is a little sadistic and concerning in my opinion. Who gets joy out of killing or seeing another thing be killed? Go buy a steak if you want one. Unless its for population control, and you can't afford to relocate the animal. I understand that a little more. If it puts the safety of people in jeopardy, do what you gotta do. But no one should...

At least the wolves get to live a somewhat normal life until they are killed by a hunter. (Only somewhat, because their space has been encroached too much by human overbreeding.)

So, obviously this is a romantic notion about wolves, a romantic notion held by people who avoid the reality of slaughterhouses, who have a mental disconnect because they themselves are not the ones who kill cows, they just buy the meat in sanitised packaging in supermarkets.

In addition to signing this petition, I have reported their vile page. I strongly encourage all of you to do the same. Facebook can't ignore a great number of reports in addition to this petition. Not only do they promote the "eradication of wolves", but also promote violence, are racist, sexist, and hateful. One poor man calmly suggested they make this a closed group page and they just hurled abuse on this poor fellow. Picture if you will the stereotypical gun-toting, meth smoking, white...

Good for you, Lori. So you were also verbally abused by these a-holes for making a perfectly reasonable suggestion? I'm not surprised. The other gentleman who also asked them to make it a closed group was crucified for it. I can imagine the grief you suffered. The people on that page are the most ignorant, vile, racist, sexist, stupid misogynists. Thanks for trying.

this is a bit sad in my oun opinion, i belive that we drived this animal to extintion, and they are on the top of a food chane, probably there controol is necessary to a certain degree, and probably the farmers can deliver to there territory same animals to feed them, and that way they will not come to find food in areas where is people living, but this way of advertising cooking and buteching this wild animal seems to me that can open apetite for bellies that will not do amimal conservation

I am signing this because I do feel that this page is inappropriate for facebook. I do feel, however, that just like deer hunting....hunting of any animal under regulation, and legal, should not be hammered upon. I myself am an avid deer hunter, and store what I can in my freezer for slow seasons. If someone is able to feed their family, by whatever means, then let them....just know that not everyone wants to see it or read about it.

If they were senselessly butchering wolves just for fun then that would be one thing but that is not the case. They are using them for food and nourishment. Hindus believe that the cow is sacred and the way they view us eating beef is no different than the way our society views eating wolf. I am sure that most of you that are on here bashing the sight enjoy a good hamburger from time to time. It is no different. Our society defines our perception on things. Hindus believe that the cow is sacred and the way they view us eating beef is no different than the way our society views eating wolf. I am sure that most of you that are on here bashing the sight enjoy a good hamburger from time to time. It is no different. Our society defines our perception on things. People all over the world eat animals and wildlife that our American society views as taboo and unthinkable. It is very arrogant to believe that our way is the only way and our view is superior. So unless you are a from birth vegan then not one of you really has room to judge other peoples eating habits. I myself have never eaten wolf and do not anticipate doing so, but I find it to be very controlling behavior to try and petition against someones free speech and taste.

Yes Kalvin. How is it any different than eating bear or deer in the wilderness? Wolves attack and eat people but you never hear of a herd of deer attacking and eating people. Why is it so absurd to eat wolf? It's only absurd to you because that was your conditioning in your up bringing. Our social environment trained us to think this way.
