no-one can deny kids love fireworks....but lets just have organised displays for them to enjoy. I know they are in the minority but teenagers still roam the streets using them needlessly!
My terrier shivers and shakes all through the fireworks and the stress sets off her colitis problem which generally means another trip to the vet, this I could do without. total ban I would go for.
They take a terrible toll each year on both pets and wildlife. I dread it every year.

The potential for damage and terror to animals is not an acceptable risk in my opinion. In this day and age, is it REALLY appropriate to make explosives readily available to the general public?

it is a dreadfull time for last three weeks the animals are terrified , ban the private sale of fireworks.
too many kids getting hurt through public sales of fireworks.it also scares our dogs with fireworks going off at any time of the night before the proper day.
