Few parents teach their kids respect anymore. That is what it all boils down to. Respect yourself and others. We are all in this strange thing called LIFE together. We can make it good or bad. You make a choice.....
Wow what a thought..Hilda thank you for sharing it ..i feel same..yesterday(22 nov 2012) I've been to our head office and there in absence of Chairperson ,his subordinate misbehaved with me and i was feeling like helpless and cried/weeped ..but at last i shut him up of his rude and unaccepted behavior with a female very junior colleague(me,Renuka Singh)..LIFE gives us lesson and demon male like Ranjit pal dont deserve respct from a girl like me,u and so many others who need help but dont/cant express themselves!
Every person deserves respect, ALL work is honorable.
I hope everyone recovers from this so called Black Friday, hope you have a happy thanksgiving!
AMEN! I watched my daughter struggle to put herself through school and make a home. I don't believe I could have done what she did and graduated Cum Laud. Her customers helped her along the way. Her personality and dedication to her job and school endeavored her to succeed. Bless all the service workers - it is not an easy task.
It's easy to be nice - takes energy and effort to be mean/rude.
I always do this. I'm surprised it's a cause. It's my nature.
I'm constantly with public service people, health personal, doctors, nurse's,receptonist, all involved, I find just saying have a nice day, weekend, holidays, exceptra, I feel good because they take the time to acknowledge, & that tells me they appreciated what you take the short time to tell them,
I worked in retail for a while. Some customers were demanding & rude, while the majority appreciated anything I could help them with.
I work as a cashier for a grocery store for the past 15 years. I am always busy because I try to be nice to everyone that I come in contact with. I met my husband of 12 years - he was the customer and I was the cashier and when we got married, his brother said that you never know who you are going to meet at a grocery store. I meet all kinds of people. It is a family store business.
This is Truly indeed a day to celebrate not only nationally, but internationally! W/o them we wouldn't truly be where we r and what we have now as well as other things to truly be Grateful for!
