I had the "buckle pit"if anybody remembers this(1 oblong tablet in each side of your facecheeks)every 20 minutes, until you deliver. That was the WORST labor I ever went through! The contractions come much harder, than normal. My daughter was my 1st one(3 boys followed her)the labor of course is bad with any delivery, but for me , it was much harder with the induction process because the pitocin made the contractonsmuch harder & faster than nomal.I would have to say I wish I would have let...

Even 41.5 weeks or 42. Makes such a difference. Your baby is 2 to 3 weeks older and much more ready to do everything.

long story short , I let my body do its own work.... 35.1/2 wks pregnant went into labor on my own... walking into the hospitial... going through triage , she actually waited to come until we hit the labor and delivery room I walked in at 12:30 and Had Her in my arms by 1:35... all natural....i actually laugh about it now... I had a rookie nurse next to me in L&D.... I was laying on my side and actually broke my water all over the floor and right onto her.

Inductions are interventions which may lead to unnecessary surgery like C/Sections..Be patient ladies.

I let them talk me into an induction with my first NEVER AGAIN, my next 2 were 42 weeks I refused to let them induce and they were beautiful births. My 4th came right on time of her own free will. And although I don't expect these 2 (twins) to wait till 40 they will be given that option if they so choose!

Say no to induction. Just let it happen.

We recommend to all of our clients that they let labor begin on it's own!
