I think women rush pregnecy to much you ask them when are you do theyll say doctor says such a date but if i dont go by certain time im gonna be induced
Sense when do we have such a choice Baby will be here when its ready...
and once its here your gonna wonder if you can stick it back up there sometimes LOL LOL
so difficulft for many women intimidated by professionals. The last birth I attend was of a lady that was told that she had to be induced because the placenta was bad! She gave birth with 41 weeks beautifully at home.
I know, Mary Zwart, I know... The psychological terrorism of a bad placenta, of the insufficient amniotic fluid, of a too big baby... Poor women...
I was told all those things except the too big of baby part, they were telling me my baby could lose weight in utero! I did lots of my own research so I called B.S. on all their pressure techniques, but the Dr's manner made the last 12 days (post date) incredibly stressful which is not what a mama needs before birth.
40, or 41, or 42, or 43, or more... don't presume all babies take the same time to be ready. I have had three baby girls, all at different gestations of their OWN choosing and timing. One at 42, one at 41+5 and one at 42+2. Good friend of mine only just had her babe this month, at 45 weeks!
I went to 43+1
My older son was born at 42 weeks..... he took his time being born.....I made sure that the birth was his own, not the Dr. nurses or hospital schedule.... I'm happy that I did.
We are not microwave ovens! Your body and your baby know when it's time for birth.
LOL.. what? we don't go beep?
My son was born at 41w5d. I think they may all come around this time and I love it. Take all the time you need in there sweetheart :)
126.96.36.199 however many weeks your baby needs let them have it :)
Good Awarness!, For it is not your life that you are messing with.
A baby needs about 10 full moons to cook. And no, not the baby's dad flashing somebody, though that can be fun at parties.
This is a great awareness measure! Having both experienced having to WAIT myself -- as an L&D RN I have seen how different labor is when the body is ready! Please be aware that you do face more possibility of risks, and usually a LONGER Labor.
