That people are even allowed to be homeless is a disgrace when there are people with more than one home, and when there are buildings empty for all or most of the time. People rattle on about human rights - if they don't include the right to have shelter, food and essential health care we have to ask what sort of morals they're really based on. The US could provide the basic necessities of life for all its citizens for a tiny fraction of what it spends on warfare - instead the land of the "free" is based on the profit of a few over the welfare of the majority, with the poor encouraged to believe they're just the millionaires who haven't made it yet. It all makes perfect sense for those who don't give a f*** about anyone else.
