I lost my husband on 12/01/09, just 3 weeks after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. No symptoms. It was just there. It was devasting and painful.

You don't see many surviving this cancer. My brother died 11 years ago with this.

Lost my Dad on 12/26/10 ; after being officially disgnosed on 12/6/10 with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and we were told he had about 3months. I don"t understand after few months of multiple tests; by the time it was actually diagnosed, it was too late.

I also lost my husband, to this awful disease. Just 5 days before his 60th Birthday having only been diagnosed 4 weeks earlier. We had been married for 40 years, had watched our children grow and just looking forward to our time.

I have been fighting cholangiocarcinoma (which involves the common bile duct, pancreatic duct, liver, gall bladder duct & my duodenum) since January 14, 2008. My duodenum is completely shut down & I have had a bypass surgery so my food can get through. Goes straight from stomach through a hole & into the large intestine. The length of my survival is practically unheard of. All my doctors call me their miracle patient. None have ever had a patient to survive anywhere near this length of time....

I was expected to live 6 months to a year. "OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD"! I know God, the best of care & Prayers from everyone has done this. Please pray that I continue on because I can tell I am getting weaker & in more pain now. Love each & everyone of you. Ellen
