We need to stand up against greed & do what's right for our planet in general but to save all our important forests-rainforests & protect all that lives in them such as our wildlife! Trees are very important & help us & the environment so it's Amazing to me how we want to destroy them! :( I hope everyone will support & sign this very important petition & be planet angels since it's up to us to be the voice of reason & to save & protect it!

A transformative shift is at hand for a planet in dire need, and actively engaging the potential and opportunity of this era as the most influential species alive is our essential and sacred responsiblity. As humans stand at a poignant turning point in history, it is up to us to define what the Age of the Human will come to represent.

A transformative shift is at hand for a planet in dire need, and actively engaging the potential and opportunity of this era as the most influential species alive is our essential and sacred responsiblity. As humans stand at a poignant turning point in history, it is up to us to define what the Age of the Human will come to represent.
The next chapter in the human story is waiting to be written and among the tools which will write that chapter are the heart and the mind, core elements of human expression, dual ways of knowing and being that have been separated for far too long.
As the Eagle and the Condor circle towards one another again, the time is now to seize our potential in this moment in history to become more wholly human and create a wholly healthy planet once more.

Since the dawn of modern industrial society, the story of human “progress” has been filtered through a lens that insists humans are masters of the Earth.
Models of mass production and distribution, and an increasing dependence on artificial food production and non-renewable resources, are just a few of the “advances” that continue to stoke the fire of unsustainable trends threatening to engulf our future in chaos and destruction.

It is a great paradox that while we fervently seek out ways to live longer and more comfortably, the earth is slowly dying all around us. If the modern world could cleanse this lens that glorifies human superiority, the long-term consequences of unsustainable models would be far too clear to ignore.

We return thanks to our mother, the Earth,
which sustains us.
We return thanks to the rivers and streams,
which supply us with water.
We return thanks to all herbs,
which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
We return thanks to the moon and stars,
which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.
We return thanks to the sun,
that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.
Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit,
in Whom is embodied all goodness,
and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.

I gues it makes not much sense always point at the fakt that the europeans came and messed up everything, once the indigenous came too....and I gues lots of former indigenous who live a modern live, would not like to get back in a hut in the jungle, with a chief or a woman-chief and a medicine-man and live according to the rules of those....but I agree we should not only keep what we got, but reforest as well in many parts of the world! And stop the greed of politition´s and landgrabbers...

My Native American name is Sees Far, and looking back to what my ancestors lost in their way of life is so sad. They lived in harmony with their natural surroundings and the Europeans came and imposed their way of life on us. We must try very hard to help the indigenous peoples who are now struggling with the onslaught of "civilization." Pray for a reversal to the Round 11.

I will support this and they have a way of living we don't understand than will and should be passed on for generations to come for many many years.
