Because my fiance died in that war!
What kills me the most is I give lectures here in Maine about Agent Orange and the effects it has on veterans and their families and I can't get one no not one of the veterans organizations like the VFW, AMvets, Legio or DAV to have me come in and present my lecture to there members. And I do this for FREE. What is wrong with everyone this has been and is still killing us today as well as our children and grand children!
This has been my experience as well, Joseph. 35 Years of Speaking, Legislation, & Community Education on A.O. and the problems we face daily with Re Exposure to 2,4-D, Round Up, GMO's, etc...Americans Do Not want to know. They are unwilling to believe that the Gov't. would allow this to happen to Vets and Families. Or to American Citizens....The Sleepers Must Awaken!
Love to hook up with you Joesph...my daughter and I have founded Agent Orange Legacy and we live in Maine.
What I've noticed in presenting the research I've done on A.O. is many people replying with "All is fair in war" type of attitude. I've had numerous people express that attitude in the Q&A session but also mention their concern that our Veterans are not taken care of. I've also noticed the attitude of "what is done is done" and "it happened a long time ago" I try to stress to them that though it originally happened years ago....it is STILL very prevalent and continues to victimize in the present!!
Joe you need to contact the VAOIG in Washington DC to file a complaint against your reps up there. First of all, never go to the regional office. They are in conspiracy with the Gov't and hope we will just die off. Fight for what you deserve. The number my friend and others reading this, and do copy it down and repost it over and over 1-800-488-8244. This number by passes are BS recordings. They will ask you what you complaint is. Tell them and don't them belittle you. I deal them...

I am fighting to make sure it don't take 30 years like AO.
well there Joseph Armstrong, did you ever try the VFW IN WATERFORD CT?
denial is not just a river in egypt. those organizations don't want to get involved because they KNOW what a monster it is.
The children of the vets must be given due care. And don't forget the Vietnamese children who have been affected also. I have seen them myself and their defects are appalling.
Please consider bringing more attention to the children of our Vietnam veterans who were exposed Agent Orange type chemicals.

Through Smile Train I have donated checks to give a smile back to the children with cleft palates!
And to receive a letter from the children is very heartwarming!
While I don't have Agent Orange disabilities in my immediate family, I have a niece who does.
Please don't start a BLAME GAME here! This is a help site.
Can my daughters file a claim with the VA even though the problems they have, I do not see on a list? They have lots of health problems and their father was in VN.
