I have no idea what this is about. I haven't seen any of these photos. I know that FB took down photos my daughter posted of herself nursing her newborn baby. She's 23 years old and the photos were not only very modest but were absolutely beautiful. But someone else who was apparently a prude reported the photos that were in my daughter's photos and FB took them down! THAT offends ME! So, all anyone would have to do is report a photo they object to.

What kind of 12 year would take nude photos of herself or let someone else do it anyway? I also have a 12 year old daughter and she's horrified at the idea of someone seeing one of her bra straps. She would no more take nude photos of herself and post them where anyone could see them than she would run down Main street nude. What the hell were this girl's parents doing? Isn't there a law against child pornography in Canada as there is in the States? Something about all of this doesn't add up.

I thought the same thing but, I mean no disrespect but there is something wrong here. We can not blame Facebook for this. If you think of it logically someone should have reported it and how is the Facebook group going to know if this photos are offensives unless someone reported it. I have not see this pictures too. If I did I would have reported it.
I think it is always easier to blame some one for something than looking at the reality of it.
1) Parenting
2) Media - Movies, TV comercials,...

3) Ourselves when we see something not right report it! this would have save a lot of people a lot of pain.

If you give me an option I would not let kids below 18 yrs old have a Facebook account or without adult observation. We can go on blah...blah... Facebook this and that. But at the end of the day it is not Facebook who is going to be taking care of your children. It is you.

Lets look at the root of the problem don not waste time with excuse....

I am totally against child pornography too. I have 2 kids of my own and I wanted to take the pledge to but I think we are taking it against the wrong people. This is like the Frankenstein movie where the mob just follows the leader without thinking.

I am very concerned that Facebook seems not to be a serious and safe place to be anymore... :-(

I think Facebook has always been on the dangerous side (especially where kids are concerned). It just seems to be getting worse these days. :(

INJUSTICE. CRUELTY. PEDOPHILES SHOULD LISTED ON THE DEATH PENALTY IN MY OPINION! My Thoughts & Prayers go out to Amanda And Her Family, although it doesn't feel like any kind of justice in regards... Only Great Sadness...

I've seen even worst than this : some jerks published on Facebook a picture of Amanda's corpse, naked, allegedly taken at the public morgue. And the comments next to it were clearly pornographic. I informed Facebook against it and I made it clear to the moderators that I strongly disapproved their posting of a picture of a 15 years old, dead girl all naked, and that it was possibly a crimninal behaviour. As a result, I have been bullied myself. Be aware that there is no protection of any...

I reported childporn on facebook and the report come back saying facebook hasn't removed this content, it makes me wonder if the moderators on facebook are "THE" predators themselfs.

I was going to take the pledge anyway because facebook have a lot of bad karma coming in the future. It is NOT WE, the users who are suffering, but THEM. You cannot even comment on the post before you take the pledge on this. But this is about a young girl who might have made some mistakes but she definitely DID NOT deserve to be made to feel as badly as she did because no one came to help her. The parents these days are just like they were when I was growing up. THEY DO NOT CARE. Teachers...

The parents these days are just like they were when I was growing up. THEY DO NOT CARE. Teachers do not care. Facebook does not care. They are only keeping a nasty trend alive that should have died long ago. The slime behind causing her to suffer like she did WILL get captured and karma will kick them where it hurts the most. This goes for anyone who manipulates and hurts children for any reason!

Indeed "Whosoever causes these least little ones of mine to sin it would be better for him if he put a millstone(3 tonne weight) around his own neck and cast himself into the deepest part of the ocean!" Scary stuff ! Worse than KARMA !

This needs to stop. Mr. Zuckerberg, you make enough money off of this site, use some of it to protect the children who use it. Or you should be held equally responsible.

The Penalties for these acts of crime are just not hard enough. These people that commit these horrible crimes are not afraid of the law. Maybe the law should allow the families of the victima to handle the basterd.
