I myself was born into a incest family, it stopped when I left home at 16. I'm 41 and have weekly counseling sessions and have been working hard to to live with who I am. You don't pick your family.

Just because someone is poor doesn't make them bad parents An abuser is an abuser no matter how much money they have. Main problem is they keep giving abused children back knowing they will have to remove them again many children have been in the system 5 or 6 times.. I have custody of my grandchildren for the 2nd time had them a year went home for 6 months if you could call it that I still had them 4 or 5 days a week I now have them for 7 months again so far. I believe the government is involved themselves, therefore they do not much on this issue. They give money to what I know all but for this children as even the poor people or other people that live with a low income nothing they do. Only false promises I hate it! So the only thing I can do is pray that our Lord Jesus Christ will intervene.

The ultra rich could end hunger and homeless and still have billions to save, invest or spend on themselves. Why not....think what this would do to curb crime, empty prisons and allow everyone to participate in the American dream. Not my exact words but I totally whole heartedly agree with all Mr Fitzpatrick says.

President Clinton has been notably present in supporting President Obama and his campaign. I wonder why the former republican presidents (Bush & Daddy Bush) have been notably absent and silent in the GOPEE'er's camp! HMMMM!

As a single foster carer all the cut backs and changes in the welfare system has had a great impact on my role as a carer..ie having two extra bedrooms provided for L.A.C.and being told by county council that C.I.C do not count like children of your own needing a permanent room so eigher downsize or pay the 20% extra levy for the two extra bedrooms that are provided for the children in my care...

When parents can't provide, then CPS takes them away! What will be done about corrupt Child Protective services? Spitting families apart and making tax payers pay for breaking up families?

Should ask two things - why is America full of weapons and why it keeps printing dollars and sending them around the world crippling economies and standard of living of children especially in poor countries of Africa.

Why...why can´t the super wealthy open their hearts and share so that there are no hungry children in the wealthiest country in the world? If a person, to take a deduction from taxes, gives to a church that has no homeless, poor, neglected followers why not giving instead to government organizations to feed the hungry children and to get the adults to participate in "jobs" to improve the children´s well being.

why do countries give millions of dollars to help other countries when there is poverty in there own country and abuse of children. we must get our own countries in order so we can help others. I am talking about united states canada and all the rich countries.
