May peace and love fill Jamaica. My all the suffering end. May the people of Jamaica enjoy freedom from limitation. May the opressed people of Jamaica stand up and declare freedom from any form of tyranny that befallls them. May the opressers recieve Compassion in their hearts and understand their power has with it a responsiblity to all. This is my wish, prayer, and hope. Hpe and faith combined with will can make it happen.

Yo Debra Banks, I live in Jamaica and have been doing so since 1994 and all the prayers in the world won't help Jamaica and neither will your dead and never coming back jesus as Jamaica is well on its way to hell in a hand-cart. The church is a failure here and hypocrisy of the political leadership is a joke. What Jamaica need is the return of the Death Penalty and public flogging of rapists, carnal abusers and those who commit buggery. So go waste you time praying until a member of your...

I'll shoot first or join in vigilante justice as I see fit until the leaders of this beautiful country do something meaningful to address the rising crime situation here!

Prayer changes thins. "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14

Archie I so agree with you I said prayer is not enough and what you said was totally spot on about everything and I do not believe in the death penalty but these people are monsters.
I don't know where you got the idea I am a Christian who prayers and does nothing and wants nothing but to cleanse the sinners heart....that cannot be done action has to be taken did you not read the petition and what it is asking for. Us the people need to take back our own country as the gov't will do not...

Us the people need to take back our own country as the gov't will do not squat unless they are embarrassed, Internationally, lose Tourism, and put a stop to ignoring human rights.
Just mek me get 25000 and more signatures and I will go to my contacts in US and UK media...all of FB will be aware as friends from all over the world are signing.

Archie I respect every word you are saying I am going home too.

We need publicity, a forum and representation and the government has to do something they never ever did ACT AS ONE NOT BY PARTY PURE FOOLISHNESS DAT!
I WANT MY ISLAND PARADISE BACK NOT TO END UP LIKE HAITI OR OTHER OBLITERATED COUNTRIES DUE TO PEOPLE NOT TAKING A STANCE...PRAY FOR JAMAICA IS A SLOGAN IT GOES ALONG WITH ACTION AND ONCE YOU SIGN UP A MARLEY VIDEO APPEARS...

I TOO AGREE WITH THE CHURCH PEOPLE SCENARIO THEY HAVE MADE JAMROCK A CESSPOOL BY NOT DOING ANYTHING AT ALL AND LETTING THEIR PASTORS TELL THEM WHOM TO VOTE FOR. THIS HAS TO CHANGE...I AM ON YOUR SIDE ARCHIE...I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONE OF THE NONCOMMITTAL CHRISTIANS WHICH IS WHY I SAID WHAT I DID I DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND YOU.

PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION AND INVITE 25 PEOPLE EACH AND EVERY DAY IF YOU CAN.

TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS OUT THERE THE LORD CANNOT DO THIS BY HIMSELF WE NEED TO HELP HIM DO HIS WORK BY ACTIONS NOT JUST PRAYERS...AS THE CRIMINAL MIND CANNOT BE TURNED ABOUT OR GIVEN REDEMPTION..THESE ARE SICK NONEMOTIONAL CRAZY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT NEED PRAYER OR PITY THEY NEED PUNISHMENT.

AND WHO SUFFERS THE MOST FOR ALL THIS OUR CHILDREN...

ARCHIE I COMMEND YOU FOR GOING BACK HOME FROM FOREIGN IT WAS A BRAVE WONDERFUL THING TO DO...THAT IS WHAT DEBRA WANTS TO HER COUNTRY BACK AND ALIVE AGAIN.

PLEASE TAKE HEED TO WHAT ARCHIE HAS SAID,...BUT SIGN AND INVITE AND PRAY TOO BUT ACTION IS THE KEY WORD HERE. THESE SICK PEOPLE COMMITTING THESE CRIMES CANNOT BE GIVEN REDEMPTION AS THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE WORD MEANS. THEY HAVE NO EMOTIONS, NO BELIEF IN GOD OR JAH, NO LOVE IN THEM THEY CANNOT BE SAVED PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS..

BLESS YOU ARCHIE...KEEP AND STAY SAFE...X

For your information Mr. Watts Archie and I had a private conversation about this and we got along just fine we understand one another and I was not being condescending to him. It was very congenial. As for you, do nothing am use to those with your attitude that rather sit back and do nothing just criticise. I would not even cared if you signed as you are rather artificial and a bully yourself. Rude and crass to, not exactly representing whom we want on the petition. So see ya Errol in a next lifetime. Umoja! Means Unity in Swahili.....

I really think prayer is an effective tool, a wonderful piece of KINGDOM TECHNOLOGY, that can help in moving Jamaica in the right direction BUT I also know that we have to back up these prayers with work. Let every Jamaican become aware of his/her intrinsic value. If you are Jamaican you are special and Jamaica is not special without you

We may not be able to bring about change due to circumstances such as not residing in Jamaica. Whatever the circumstance, PRAYER can help to change things! One Love!

Leroy you are wrong there we can bring about change if the people back home know we are supporting them a lot of Jamaicans living there are coming out and signing the petition, Many things can happen. Please sign the petition and invite friends and family and where your twibbon proudly. Remember we once resided there too and would be able to go back more often. We ALL agree that something has to done to restore SANITY and more peaceful living in JAMAICA! But I don't think HANGING has to be re-instituted! Had a DEEP conversation with my best friend recently and we concluded that Jamaica has lost a generation or two, and the problem has to be ADDRESSED from a much younger age, say from around 5-6 yrs old, to CONSCIOUSLY INSTILL VALUES in them! It seems that a segment of the Jamaican populace, has sunken into SAVAGERY! SO, SO, SAD! JAH, help my likkle island!

I agree with you but many people feel it is necessary....I do not believe in capitol punishment I think teach one reach one, however some of the crimes are so brutal, bizarre and are leaving many scars is not death amongst our people...please please sign the petition and please recruit by sending out invitations to friends and family everywhere especially at home...we need to band together as one. Blessed love to you all.....

Tracey, it's so SAD you'd have to ask that question, eeh? One would think that responsibility would AUTOMATICALLY fall on the adults! Ironically, many of these adults are not even EQUIPPED to do so. It's a SAD, SAD, situation!!!! It seems like a DIRE situation, but between the parents, well meaning adults, school system and law enforcement, something MUST be done!!!!

1. Lack of capital punishment emboldens the thug.
2. Where are the parents? Remember the days when parents would clap you upside the head, in public or in private, if you acted untoward? When youngsters were not even allowed to be around adult conversation? WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?

We need to pray for Jamaica, for years we in the UK have focussed much of our energy on other nations, it is time for some effective, fervent prayer. We need to pray for the church in Jamaica to stand, no amount of government policies will bring lasting change, we must heed 2 Chronicles7 verse 14 and begin to stand with Jamaica in addition to prayer there needs to be action but we need to pray that the right decisions will be made in the eyes of God not man. When we turn away from our creator we see the result, when we compromise with the patterns of society we shouldn't be surprised at the result but it is not too late.
