May I send this petition to more than 50 people? I sent it and was stopped at 50, but then I went back to 50 more friends and then 50 more. Can I keep doing that until I have requested all my friends to sign the petition or was I actually limited to the last 50 I sent?

Your cause is good but why only 5000 petitions...and that too on one of the most important weaknesses...EDUCATION?

You are absolutely right Mr. Khurshid. Insha'allah we'll reach 50,000 signatures for this worthy cause. 5,000 is just a start. We have to show the government that we do not want to sacrifice another generation of Pakistani children to bad policies and misguided priorities. Education has to be front and center!

Pakistan has the opportunity to show other countries the way to a strong future - through educating all children (and adults).

These efforts cannot be streamline without education and knowledge. Holy Quran is the code of conduct but cannot be beneficial to mankind if it is not studied with devotion and understanding to each and every word of it. The modern sciences that develop the standard of humanity and the ethical values to prosper the community fall in the growth of socio economic development which can only be gain through proper knowledge. Pakistan is the Islamic State where education is the trade and this trade is available either to those who do not need for Pakistan development and for those who love Pakistan cannot afford to buy the knowledge in Islamic state due to choice between bread and eduction and for them opportunity cost is bread rather to gain knowledge.

I agree that we require education but value based education that is not constructed on the principles of the 17th Century Sciences and economic development model. Pakistan, has ample resources only that the resources are unequally distributed and not based on Islamic principles of living. How could education become more relevant to Pakistan ?

During 70s Universal Primary and Secondary School Education in Pakistan appeared to be the goal of the government but gradually imparting the education became a commercial venture with different curriculums for the rich and poor. Different syllabi for pupil of different classes are the main reason behind poor remaining illiterate.

I agree with primary and secondary education but I am not happy with the purpose, nature, processes, contents of the education. What is the relevance of such universal primary and secondary education for us that creates more puppets, dis-empowered, helpless, lazy, unhappy people.

As we petition for access I agree @Unaeza we should not loose sight on Quality, Relevancy and Value Adding Education. Access must be packaged with QRV. Otherwise the future is bleak
