My father used to say that people can take everything away but they can't take away your education. Not only is education important to Pakistani's but it is a human right for everyone to have and have access to regardless of gender, disability, race and religion. A lot of problems will be alleviated especially in Pakistan if only everyone had access to a decent and basic education.
Very True Sister. Many Thanks for sharing Your feelings ... Wonderful .
that,s why they ( politicians in majority) don,t allow you to go to school by not providing the basics of life.Life is continuous struggle till its end.No matter how much difficult the circumstances are. We must keep it up.Sooner or later result will be educated, prosperous and healthy Pakistan.
Education is the only revenge for corrupts !
You have my vote...and many others! But do you think Raja Pervez or anybody else in the government is going to do anything. Seriously doubt it! Probably dedicated philanthropist in Pakistan would do it. Govt officials and bureacrats in Pakistan are too busy filling up their own pockets. It's a joke.....around the world!
Very true but I think we stiLl should vote may it might make a difference .
Now the responsiblity comes on our whole nation to select/elect the right people who can do some thing foe the nation and not for their own pockets.
I just wish.....and yes, if only the right people are elected, perhaps!
I hope and supplicate for Pakistan's success to achieve the millennium goals with special attention to quality education for our children by 2015.
I support your Vision mohtrama Farhat Mansoob sahiba.Modern Primary Education is vital in Pakistan and countries like Pakistan.
It can be only possible once it becomes a Nation not crowd
Education will provide the soul that will convert the crowd into a nation
TALLA BUL ILM FREEZA TUN ALAA KULLAIY MUSLAIY MUN WA MUSLAIY MAATT.Under these AHKAAMAATT Every MUSLIM Men and MUSLIM Women from TWO BILLIAN MUSLIM UMMA of the whole WORLD are Duty Bound to have EDUCATION, Even if they have to go to CHINA.
Free education is the basic right of every child - a boy or a girl - in Pakistan. This right must be acceded to underprivileged masses. A proper plan with world organizations like UNISEF, World Bank etc would give sustenance and commitment by Government of Pakistan.Within next 15 years every living child, now, will be educated and the fate of this country change.
We should not have to wait for fifteen years. We need to demand immediate implementation. There are several school drop outs that need to be brought back to school now, and can complete their schooling in a short time.
I don't mean to wait for fifteen years. I mean " start educating our people right today and the majority will be literate within next 15 years. You are absolutely right in re-inducting drop-outs; this will be an added bonus in accelerating the process.
I guess the sticking point for this Govt & many others is Revenue & Finance as well as a social agenda for education.
There should some avenue that could approach the World Bank or the IMF on this basis.
I believe it is time Pakistanis start looking inwards and to themselves for help instead of towards external institutions and governments. The resources can be made available by re-directing the revenues lost to corruption, mismanagement, junkets for the leaders and waste, and this way we will not add to the national debt either.
You've identified corruption, but there must be a way forward.
Education is SO important. I don't know where I would be without it, without the capability to express myself, to calculate simple equations, or unable to learn other languages: french and spanish...
I am so proud to be part of this and to see my name there :)
Thank you so much! I am so flattered. and I have shared it with so many of my friends that it looked like I spammed everyone :S Which was a little embarrassing, but with hope they will all sign it and we shall get many signatures!
"If you plan for one year, plant rice. If you plan for 10 years, plant a tree. If you plan for 100 years, educate a child."
Educating Pakistan has been long over-due. It's the right of every child (girl and boy), and the need of the hour.
I tried to sign but i dont like when they want to have access to your email address, plus HDF site did not have any info regarding who is actualy behind this organisation (no names) only that it is run by some people in north America. How well are you informed about this yasmin ??
The change in Pakistan can only come through education.
Due to being busy I was not able to move the subject. I am available and can help to teach people
A good step towards educational development and progress.
I have signed.
