I'm not from the USA, but I wish to help your cause. Will it be OK if I sign?
This is for all people. Just wanting our produce, meat that we feed our families to be labeled showing where it came from.
Great! I'm all for it, both as a doctor and as a woman cooking for my family
I would like to see made in the USA on all products and all the junk from China in one place so you don't have to read ever thing you pick up, when you go to walMart, they have so much stuff from China food and all,, from all over the world ,, but most is from China , So why don't they put all the stuff from China in one PLACE and if you want China then you all you have to do go the Chinamart part of the store.
I ask all of you woulde'nt it be better if all the stuff from China was in one place at walmart so you would not have to read everthing , Food i will not eat from China, if you read the food labels on all the fruit and fish and a lot of canned stuff also candy and many many more things all they have to do is is put it in a place all by its self and call it ChinaMart Is that asking to much ? So lets see WHO will respond ,
I just can't beleave that people are not all over this , Unless you just buy stuff at walmart and don't read the label's Hec, i spend all my time tring to see what i am buying to feed my Family.
Unfortunately corporations and trade agreements dictate what can and cannot be done!
Why unfortunately, Werner? Can this not be revisited and a new agreement drawn? Just askin'
I bought a jar of jam at one of the local Dollar stores and while spreading it on toast, discovered a twig and leaves in the jar with the jam! I read the label (after the fact) and discovered it was from Egypt. EGYPT! Do we not have Apricots in America? Why the hell are we importing JAM? Now, I do not buy any food products from the dollar stores and any food products I buy at the regular grocery store, I read the label, but sadly most of them will just tell you it was "distributed in...

Well duh. All for COOL and labeling GMO food as well!
That was a while ago, but ya.... learned my lesson in regards to thrifty shopping! But I will still love some of that Blueberry Jam! YUM!
Protein promotes faster healing of all wounds... not pink Slime!
Pound for pound- Spirulena has a higher protein content than that of beef but yes, we need amino acids for healing
I don't think it is too much to just know what we are putting in our childrens bodies. We have the right to protect those who and know the truth.
FIRST YOU HAVE TO STOP! SHOPPING AT YOUR UNAMERICAN WALMART...... SAM WALTON HAS BEEN GONE FOR YEARS HIS FAMILY ONLY LOOKS AT THE BOTTOM LINE NOW$$$$$$$$$$$$.
THEN START USING YOUR LOCAL FARMER DIRECT , OR CHECK OUT FARMS ON FACE BOOK OR ROLLA NET IN MO. BUY 1/2 OF A COW OR PIG AND SHARE WITH THE FAMILY. EITHER GO NATURAL, WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN ORGANIC , BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE FIGURED IT OUT LET ME KNOW!
Sam must be spinning in his grave.
Here in Europe labelling of country of origin is an EU legal requirement. I find it strange that this is an issue in WTO.
"...Here in Europe labelling of country of origin is an EU legal requirement". Well, not really when you consider it is allowed to claim a garment, made in Romania but has its buttons sewn on it in Italy as "Made in Italy".
You're right but I thought these garments had to be labelled as made in the EU.
I googled How to Read Country of Origin in Bar Codes...The first 3 digits of the barcode is the country code wherein the product was made. Ex: 00-13 is USA and CANADA and 690-695 then it is Made in China.. The website also list other countries with barcode numbers! Very Good To Know!
Bro....I'm just trying to stay in the "know"!! I read somewhere that "my people will perish from a lack of knowledge" not a direct quote, but you get may drift! WHY DON'T U HOLLA AT YOUR SISTER...THE PHONE WORK BOTH WAYS!!!! PEACE AND LOVE
GLENN....Seriously..make sure you sign this petition!!!
I agree that country of origin is a must, and that it needs to go further than that so we can find the farm/ranch it came from as well.
the meat we are eating in the U.S. is really bad and tasteless, this is a must especially for meats
