People have the right to support our farmers and we need to know the country of origin. Buy American. My neighbor and I farm together and we raise beef in a humane, healthy environment - no chemicals or hormones. Our customers love our products.
All we ask is to know what country our food comes from so we can choose. As William Wallace says below, is this not more important than knowing where our shirt is manufactured?
I absolutely INSIST on knowing this, and I don' t buy till I know. If there are problems I want it traced back stat!
I would so like to join a community garden, and I would pay someone to teach me how to garden. Yes, I know that is pathetic, but I can learn!
happy to sign for this cause!
IT is even MORE IMPORTANT than country of origin is to know where it is fed GMO (Genetically Modified) food or not. And even mre important to know if we are eating Genetically modified food. there is a Prop 37 in California demanding our Right To Know! Please support Prop 37 by either voting "yes" or supporting it financially. The future of our health and food chain all over the US depends on it. Dr. Ilani
Hi I'm from south africa and I agree. I wish we had that kind of suport here.
SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
I think they should do away with all meats b/c of a number of reasons. the main reason is b/c its not good for the body and the environment. sure it taste good, I guess that's what we're all addicted to. the healthier choice for me would be vegatables. organic vegatables.
I am originally from Scotland. Moved to Australia at 24 years old and stayed for six years. I now live in Indonesia and all those retailers tell you if their meat products come from overseas or not.
As someone who raises cattle here in the U.S., I have been well aware of the possible C.O.O.L. Legislation. I must say I am very excited to finally see it gain some attention with the general public. It is a way for people to know they are getting a healthy and safe product.
