Many of us fought to have a ban in the Uk and Europe. We supposedly won. But the ban is a total sham.

The ‘ban’ doesn’t come into force until December. By then most if not all farmers will have purchased their chemical coated seeds for next year.

They are only banning 3 of the neonicotinoids. There are others, which will not be banned.

They are only being banned from using on pollinating plants, so will still be used on other crops, meaning that there will continue to be residues on the land. And it is not known how long residues last for.

There is no ban on all the other insecticides, which may also be having a detrimental effect on all bees and other pollinating insects.

New studies show that not only are bees are being affected, but hoverflies and lacewings too. So the notion by many folk that there are other insects, which can go on pollinating, is false.

We have had the most amazing apple blossom this year, yet very few bees working it – one or two here and there. The same with comfrey, which would normally be humming with bumble bees. We in the Uk have had a very long winter, and still a cool spring. Indeed, the coldest spring in 50 years. This has undoubtedly has had a serious effect on bee populations of all kinds. Undoubtedly too, they have been weakened by chemicals.

Think about it seriously. Insecticides do that – kill insects! So...

Think about it seriously. Insecticides do that – kill insects! So what can we expect – dead bees, dead hoverflies, dead lacewings….. all for the sake of money and power.

The same people are pushing to ban all seeds that are not controlled by Monsanto and the other chemical industries, so that we have to use their genetically modified seeds, which will only grow by using their chemicals.

The same people who are trying to ban the use of homeopathy, herbs and other forms of natural healing, so that we are all hooked on to their drugs.

Part three: Please, everyone wake up to what is happening. These multinational companies are after world domination and politicians are falling over backwards to oblige.

Yes It is a case of tunnel vision with some of the bureaucrats. There is no thought about the wider implications.

It would be good to know the cut off date for this petion - a lot of petitions keep circulating and getting signed long past their sell-by date. Petition fatigue can set in if one discovers ones self wasting time with an old poetition...so this information [a date] needs to be in the first 3 paragraphs of page 1.

I prefer organic friendly methods of raising crops, and I do not approve of pesticides that kill native bees too which are endangered in some countries. I also do not approve the use of chemicals in any industry that threaten our earth and it's inhabitants.

In France, a law forbidds any poison killing bees. IT S A MUST... Hoping that it s not too late!

This is important to human survival as it is to bees. We must have the pollination process continue, and have healthy bees to do it. If you want to eat vegys etc, food, this spraying of neonicotinoid must be stopped. The bees will not be the only extinct insect, and the human race cannot survive without pollination of plants. Everything has it's lace in God's plan. Please sign, Let's fight this with everything we have. Thank You.
