I wonder how many people with neanderthal intellect are behind this injustice to nature.
Not as many who are against it
Thankyou much appreciated. Hard to understand how peaple given the power to make these decisions, end up makeing the ones that will end up with such a catastrophic outcome. wish there was more i could do to help.
We need the bees need to be protected.
Save the bees, mother!!!!! ;-)
I have tried, during the last few years, to grow more 'bee-friendly' flowering plants, and saw some bees during this last disastrous summer, despite the rain.
Well done you Sylvia - our bees seem to be thriving despite the poor summer. But almost all the honey has had to be left for them to eat for this coming winter. They deserve it though. Fascinating creatures and so clever.
Please Please everyone read this.
Many of us fought to have a ban in the Uk and Europe. We supposedly won. But the ban is a total sham.
The ‘ban’ doesn’t come into force until December. By then most if not all farmers will have purchased their chemical coated seeds for next year.
They are only banning 3 of the neonicotinoids. There are others, which will not be banned.
They are only being banned from using on pollinating plants, so will still be used on other crops, meaning that there...
They are only being banned from using on pollinating plants, so will still be used on other crops, meaning that there will continue to be residues on the land. And it is not known how long residues last for.
There is no ban on all the other insecticides, which may also be having a detrimental effect on all bees and other pollinating insects.
New studies show that not only are bees are being affected, but hoverflies and lacewings too. So the notion by many folk that there are other insects, which can go on pollinating, is false.
We have had the most amazing apple blossom this year, yet very few bees working it – one or two here and there. The same with comfrey, which would normally be humming with bumble bees. We in the Uk have had a very long winter, and still a cool spring. Indeed, the coldest spring in 50 years. This has undoubtedly has had a serious effect on bee populations of all kinds. Undoubtedly too, they have been weakened by chemicals.
Think about it seriously. Insecticides do that – kill insects! So...
Think about it seriously. Insecticides do that – kill insects! So what can we expect – dead bees, dead hoverflies, dead lacewings….. all for the sake of money and power.
The same people are pushing to ban all seeds that are not controlled by Monsanto and the other chemical industries, so that we have to use their genetically modified seeds, which will only grow by using their chemicals.
The same people who are trying to ban the use of homeopathy, herbs and other forms of natural healing, so that we are all hooked on to their drugs.
Part three: Please, everyone wake up to what is happening. These multinational companies are after world domination and politicians are falling over backwards to oblige.
So true.. we are not talking politics, but life as we know it.
befor its too late if it already isn't!!
pitty its only us saying stop, our com sold us out years ago,id love to say enjoy the ride ,but i know we will not.
Yes It is a case of tunnel vision with some of the bureaucrats. There is no thought about the wider implications.
thank you all for your responses, i have only found them as only John's was fed back to me. I am a member of the Wedmore Green Group here in England, and we lean on our 'poly-tishons' (oh, a species of parrot!!!!!!!!). perhaps you have local pressure groups you can work with, or join to help the cause. Or even start one yourselves. Just a thought. You can look up our website and get ideas. i wish you all well. melvyn ps i will be happy to hear from you.
we can't allow the bee populaton to fade away...
says who? the bee-suicide-killer-commandos doing chemical warefare?

BioDynamic Farming solves the whole thing. Even the long dead soils of the Austrailian Outback deserts turn into fertile Black-Loamy-Rich Topsoil. The earthworms also apear in this soil like almost magic, showing that their eggs can last maybe 1000's of years?
Alexander Federowicz All of this is mainly Monsanto's doing. They also intentionly falsified their cancer tests for GMO foods, stopping at the 2 year mark, when continued all the lab animals died from huge tumors right after @ 2 years. So thats why they stopped the tests...
I garden organically. We live in a farming community in western NC, and there are many farmers here who are very aware of this serious problem. I happen to be designing a label for a client who is selling honey, and I have other dear friends who have their own hives. We need to solve this problem...for the sake of all living creatures who live on this planet.
