The facts are that breeders breed to make money. When the puppies are sold they don't follow up on the care of the puppy that was sold it is purely a money and status symbol.

Things have got so sad now, if I have to take sides, it must be to stop more and more animals being bred for money or even if its not it causes it more difficult to rehome homeless dogs, there should be more control, my dog was supposedly from a pet but they owned many dogs in sheds, they were cold and it was all about money. no, animals don't choose to have pups, they often get a lot of pain and even die, no its a form of exploitation even if some owners don't see that, a lot of them breed...

what it can lead to is more control on breeders, some breed them knowing they are closely related, litters can be as a result of an accident but there's too much buying them to make money out of their pain, no its not fair when they often end up with breast cancerm womb cancer, testicular cancer as well as stopping homeless dogs get homes. its a vicious circle.

This is ludacris. People should have the FREEDOM to choose whether or not they would like to breed their pets.
We have enough government programs taking advantage of american people. You cant regulate morality. You can educate uninformed buyers and the trend would stop. I guess we don't have time for rational decisions anymore.

there are too many dogs in rescue centres that desperately need a forever home. Too many people use dog breeding as a means to make money, and it is wrong. Please sign this important petition. Thank you.

There are just to many unwanted babies out there and so many loose there lives needlessly. Just hearing about it just breaks my heart. But also remember that there has to be breeders that don't overbreed and really care about the babies. So these breeders should be watched closely also. I was very lucky to get a good breeder for my St Bernards. Wake up Mr. President this is very important also. Thankyou everyone
