Educate & ELIMINATE.
Having family members who had breast cancer and having two others that had scares, I feel that the more knowledge one has, the better you are to deal with it. Putting your head in the sand only buries you deeper!
As an African American Woman we don't always have the knowledge we need. You don't gave to be in your Twilight years to get Breast Cancer. Woman younger in years are bring diagnosed early which gives them a higher rate of survival. And MEN can also get Breast cancer, be aware people. I just had a friend a year older than me just get a double Mastectomy!!! She has a long fight but if we all stand for the cause we can help her and so many others!!!
so that we can be aware of taking care of ourselves and prevent them from coming, and also, to give support to those walking in cancer.. we deploy the message of hope to all of them...
I HAVE LOST AN AUNT , MOTHER AND FATHER IN LAW, SIS AND BROTHER IN LAW TO THIS DEMON. LET'S PRAY FOR A CURE TO COME 2MORROW.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of this year. Still recieving information as to what is going to be done. Surgery to be scheduled for double mastectomy and possible reconstruction. Don't know which way to go with it Do I do the reconstruction or not? Cannot decide, if I knew if it has spread beyond just breast why bother? So unsure right now. God, Please give me strength to accept what ever is to be.
