As always, new legislation comes to the table and rarely is removed, even if it is against the general interests of the people. Media manipulation to justify ´hidden´things´is not really in the public interest even though some would have us believe so. Accountability and transparancy for public services...i.e. the government and all connected services are far better tools to serve the people- We must remember that our governments...in a democratically elected ´free´ society.....aresupposed to be the servants of the people, not the servants of the few who have hidden agendas, therefore it is right to argue that all levels of law should be open and accountable to parliament at minimum and all the people at best. Shadows come about through hiding the light, this legislation only serves to increase the power and scope of the government´s shadow.

We have inherited an amazing country to live in because many men and women throughout history were prepared to sacrifice their lives , to change things that were wrong in our society. We freely reap the benefits! It's so easy for us to be complacent, often through ignorance. If we really believe what this petition is making a stand against, then we should too, make a stand!

The police and judiciary are far too powerful. No evidence should ever be withheld for any reason whatsoever, especially not for reasons of national security. This is supposed to be a democracy.

It cannot be claimed by a country that runs secret courts that it is a civilised country. There is no excuse powerful enough to warrant these degrading and perverse courts. They must not be allowed to take place in our name.
