In Wisconsin, the legislation was fast tracked through allowing hunters SIX months of hunting with bows, arrows, traps AND HOUNDS...right through the wolves birthing season..This was pushed through by a small powerful group of Extremem hunters and wolf haters WITHOUT the input of the States own Wolf Biologist or the input of any scientific research information regarding social vs. biological carrying capacity or taking into account the fairly LOW numbers of depredations occurring. In 2011 out of thousands o farms in this state there was one horse killed by wolves, 46 calves, several grown cows and some missing calves. We also must deal with the myth that the wolves are killing all the deer. Wisconsin has over a million deer. Yet a grown wolf consumes an average of 12 to 14 deer annually.

I'm not against hunting wolves. I mean, we hunt everything else so what makes wolves any different? I am, however, disgusted by the majority of the wolf hunters and their mentality. "Smoke a pack a day " "shoot shovel and shut up" These people have no idea that these keystone species play a very important role in the ecosystem. All they care about is the thrill of killing something.

God intended for these beautiful creatures to help keep the balance of nature. Man (if one can call someone who murders wolves that) continues to mess with how it was supposed to be. They should be the ones posted "dead" on FB. STOP this insanity NOW!

So very sad to kill these amazing creatures who are so much less destructive than human beings are!

We do not have a right to massacre, to murder in these ways. The Wolf is our relative on this earth, and we are supposed to learn from them. Once again, it is a desecration based on ignorance, greed, fear and closed hearts for those in support of what is NOT a hunt, but a massacre.

They did not wait the Grace period after they were taken off the endangered species list to allow a trial period of survival. Because of this they are not in a stable enough numbers to withstand the onslaught of this hunting extermination. We do not eat Wolves, so we should abide by the law of the Jungle & kill only when we will be killed. Wolves do not kill humans, they stay as far away as they can.

This is completely uncalled for, and a cruel way for one of gods beautiful and fascinating creatures to die. I can see killing a wolf ONLY if it is a threat to your livestock, or someones life. And that is if it CAN NOT be trapped in an HUMANE way. Not like this. If you HAVE to put one down well then shoot it so it doesn't lay there and suffer. I know and understand that sometimes you have to put one down. But as long as it is staying in it's own habitat away from people leave it alone....

After all god put it on this earth for a reason. if you eliminate a species then you throw off the balance of nature.
