I t seems to me that there is already so much money going to the cancer research and they still are not any closer to a cure i wonder why??? maybe if they found a cure all the drug company's would be out of business
And who do you trust sure is not the government or any company that is making a profit too much greed in this world and the ones that could make truly make a difference do not care you no the ones with the big bucks.
that,s my story and i am sticking to it.

Tom, that is why I am asking the Ford Warriors In Pink to add a Metastatic Breast Cancer group like Metavivor or MBCN that gives 100% of their funding to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer research. Fordcares.com/Warriorsinpink gives 100% of their funds collected from proceeds that are collected from their clothing line and that apparel purchase is then given 100% to organizations like Susan G Komen and a few others that do not give as much, in fact, as the petition states, less than 3% of...

Would you please reconsider signing our petition-were dying to hear from you!

As a nation we need to refocus our breast cancer research dollars on prevention (eliminating environmental contributors) AND on metastatic disease. Detection/screening research no longer requires the financial attention it receives. Please take a minute to sign this petition on causes to encourage Ford Warriors In Pink to add a charity focused on metastatic breast cancer and then send it on to 25 friends. Thank you.

We have do more now to stop the ravages of breast cancer-- tax cuts for the few and deregulation mean cuts in research and more carcinogens in our environment

I personally believe in the FULL PICTURE of health research and Western Medicine/Scientific Research/ Drug companies are just Part of the spectrum of Health recovery and NO Doubt, I think the people should have Access to ALL OF IT..Period! I've seen Miracles from both sides of the spectrum and this is why I believe this.. This is about MONEY and that is a double edge sword for sure.. the hole goes deeper than we realize is the case for most things and this is no different... I don't...

I've seen Miracles from both sides of the spectrum and this is why I believe this.. This is about MONEY and that is a double edge sword for sure.. the hole goes deeper than we realize is the case for most things and this is no different... I don't think funding for drugs that can be absorbed by the whole body in several different area /localized or not are the direction Scientist are going based on the interaction the body has with these drugs.. They are trying to find the basic issues first and at the current level of interaction its difficult to subject the body to that level of toxicity.. more harm than good ; ( Sooooooooooo.... I believe in doing absolutely everything humanly possible to help those in this situation;. I am trying to make available to the world and it will take the WORLD together to make this happen... Investigational therapies/Non invasive therapies and theories, Scientific, herbal, etc. etc. ALL of THE good ones available to the public for free..(why hasn't anyone done this yet?) I believe you should have the opportunity to be educated about all of them and ALL of them made available for FREE! It's the greatest idea in the realm of Helping people with health issues EVER.......Please Use this idea and connect with me later/now...like I said... I've seen these therapies work and everyone deserves the chance to use them for FREE.........

Many cures are supposedly really out but want to keep us ignorant of this fact. I notice at times here in facebook, posts come up and and let us all know these things so why not take advantage of this fact and read up on what must do to find a cure for someone else or themselves and leave mamograms alone and kemo too as it is no good; don't believe the b s they put out there that it's good for you.

I have been living with Metastatic Breast Cancer (stage 4) for 7 1/2 years now. It was my primary diagnosis when a tumor was found in my right femur. After many tests, tumors were also found in my spine and I was told that it was probably Breast cancer. I was 48 and in shock! How could this be? I needed surgery right away or my leg would fracture, so after biopsy in my breast and femur, the diagnosis was confirmed. After the surgery, I met with the medical oncologist to discuss my treatment plan and was told that there was NO CURE for what I had, just treatment to fight the cancer and palative treatment if necessary. I needed radiation to the spine and femur to alleviate the severe pain and I also started on the medical treatment plan.As friends and family were told of my illness, some would say, "oh, you can beat this" and I had to respond that I could fight the battle, but eventually the cancer would win. Yes, I am one of the lucky ones with er+/her2-, where the cancer is fueled by estrogen. This gave me options of anti-estrogen pills and a delay of actual chemo, for as long as the drugs would work. For me, that was 4 years when they then found liver tumors. Then I got my first chemo. During these 7 years I have also had spine fusion surgery when one of my tumors fractured a vertebra and contracted a serious jaw disease called Osteonecrosis of the Jaw, which was caused by one of my cancer treatments. Still, through it all, I am still here fighting, not only the cancer, but fighting for a cure. Not enough money goes to finding a cure for metastatic disease with too much money going to prevention. WE need to change this and I ask you to support our cause! Eventually, I will run out of treatments options and die. When you get to this stage in my cancer journey, treatments don't usually work for a long time, and time runs out. Give us a chance of longer life by supporting our efforts!

My original diagnosis was at stage IV at the age of 59. Four years and 10 months later at the age of 65 I am still alive due to the marvels of modern medicine. I am one of the lucky few, many many others have not been as fortunate and still others have succumbed to this horrid disease never realizing they had stage IV breast cancer. My survival does not come without a price..... life long treatment..... some not so bad..... some while prolonging life bring pain and permemant disability plus that ending nagging anxiety of.... when, when will that other shoe drop. Being stage IV reminds me of that movie " Dead Man Walking " like being on death row without an execution date.

Below is a VERY PARTIAL list of the mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers and friends who belonged to the breast cancer support group - INSPIRE. The
grou
p INSPIRE to which I belong is JUST ONE of the thousands of such groups throughout the United States and the world..... our losses continue to grow and the the numbers are not pretty.

Many of the women listed below did everything the awareness programs advised to detect breast cancer early..... had all the recommended tests and treatment.... but their names are none-the-less on this list.

WE NEED A LARGER PERCENTAGE OF THE PROCEEDS COLLECTED FOR BREAST CANCER DIRECTED TOWARDS ADVANCED AND END STAGE BREAST CANCER RESEARCH. WE NEED TO FIND A CURE FOR THIS DISEASE VERY SOON AS TO MY MIND BREAST CANCER IS RAPIDLY BECOMING EPIDEMIC!

Our group is new and we have only just started to try and make a difference to getting people to understand that there is something between being a breast cancer survivor and a statistic of how many people die of the disease each year. There is something there and it is LIFE, maybe not as we used to know it, but life all the same.
