Hi everyone, four weeks back three thugs broke into my house while I was sleeping and one of them raped. the most painful thing is that my husband and his family they say I was raped by my boyfriend and the only people who r supporting me to go through this is my parents. I really need ur advise because right now what is in my mind now is a divorce, what do I do please help????
as a women , mother and educator I would like my vote to count in the cry to government and everyone who can influence a change in our society against violence of any form.
as a man I cant verbalise wat I feel about women being raped or molested! just lock me in a room with a modda thomas machete n a rapist and I ensure you he will come out a changed man.
This topic brings to me an old book....The Temple of my Familiar.
PLEASE! Don’t keep quiet if you know someone’s child had been molested/ violated!
If you don’t speak out, then it makes you an accomplice by default. A COWARD! Your silence provides a refuge for these horrendous acts to continue unabated and unpunished! Ask yourself....what would you have done if someone had raped your chilld? Would you realy keep quiet cause you want to protect your or someone else's reputation?
Your voice can make a difference!
religious organizations and schools should be in the forefront of edu since goernment is so lacks but fathers, uncles, all males over 21 this is a time to show how responsible we can and should be stand-up speak-out against this evil - moms and female teachers remember little boys and girls are not responsible for your pain!
My heart goes out to them all!
It is all good and well to put a name on a petition list, but we need to RESPECT one another and that only comes through EDUCATION OF THE NATION otherwise we became just as bad as the perpetrators that do these horrible deeds.I personally would like to cut of there digs of or slit there throats, but that make me worse than them. A solution must be found with in all of us and again I say respect your fellow brethren.
Talk is cheap. Blaming South African government for the high number of rapes, child and women abuse is cheap reasoning. Tell us here what you think the government should do to help in fighting this scourge this topic should concentrate on how we ( I mean all of us) should do to help.
