I took the pledge. But ask that everyone in all 50 states file a complaint under Rule 17 (a), and hold them all accountable under their Oaths. As you could pull this off if everyone came together under that act. Please look it up, as the United States is suing the banks under the same rule. Thanks!

I worked in the justice system they do nothing in most cases and when they did it is usually didn't happen but 1 time was two many. I worked in a Kindergarden and I can tell you it broke my heart almost every day.
You need a lot of people to change this Hope when can do it.

Holly, I don't know if we can do it. Nobody has done it before! There has been a truth throughout history though of people being "abused" in one way or another. We are all either survivors or supporters (even if sometimes not very good ones). We all know someone who is being abused. We're working on a campaign to stitch people together.

Over 1/2 of domestic abuse is women abusing men. Is this part of your definition of abuse? Are false allegations of abuse considered abuse. If you include these I will gladly sign. If not you are simply taking sides and in most cases according to the research are on the wrong side. We all want to stop abuse. But not just for one group of people while the other group gets to do whatever it wants in the form of abuse and are never held accountable.

Bill, we take a public health approach, a scientific approach. Fact based and peer reviewed. Most of our data comes from the CDC. The only side we have is stopping abuse.

When I was in Protected Custody Bill there were Men there as well, I would commend them for taking that Step in their life, if more Men would come forward just as the Women do well I think it would be awesome for their stories to be told out loud. In Certain places in Georgia it's overlooked while other places do have zero tolerance, your support would help please. Jorgia.

Yes, I am also aware that it happens to males as well; Of course false allegations are not abuse, but of course, it cannot always be proven, depending how long ago things happened etc. I do not take sides, I am just against abuse, and obviously against real abuse; not just mere allegations. But what I am also against is the fact that a lot of people that are actually abused, that do talk out about it, get made to feel like they are the perpetrators, when they were the ones that never did...

But what I am also against is the fact that a lot of people that are actually abused, that do talk out about it, get made to feel like they are the perpetrators, when they were the ones that never did anything wrong in the first place. Tends to be often the case that the ones that cause the abuse get supported and backed up by all the right kinds of people, and by that I mean people that work in the legal system, and services such like and if you ask me I think that it should all be re evaluated as to who should be fired in those positions and who should actually be taken on to work in those positions; I would rather think you should have to get rid of the corrupt that are working in the powerful positions first and replace them with the non corrupt, or as non corrupt as one can be in this world! Because otherwise, for the most part, abusers will get backed up and supported by these people, and will continue to at least not receive any kind of punishment from the criminal justice system, of which, I would call the most of that a joke, because for the most part it is no justice, whatever the cause! That's why you then get people taking the law into their own hands in certain situations!

All abuse needs to be stopped. There has to be more awareness and help for the people that are being abused also, to stop it from happening. There has to be communication on everyone's part, if you are being abused you have to tell anyone and everyone that will listen to you. If there is no awareness nothing can be done. There is no way to undo what has already happened, there is only hope that we learn from our mistakes and teach others to do the same.

here's a thought regarding abuse and in regards to domenstic and violence against women. Instead of women being toughened up .. hows about MEN / boys from knee high be taught to HONOUR WOMEN ... Women are special ... they are in creation the wonder that I HONOUR... women can make babies ..wow! .. ( men give that 3 to 5 second squirt ... and then pass out cigars nine months later ... please ! ... give the cigar to the woman ! ) ... and I've said this often enough .. hell .. if wasn't for all...

To a large extent I agree with you, but I do also think that certain measures should be put into place where women and men or girls and boys should be able to have free access to learn self defence classes, because although women do not tend to be as strong as men physically usually, they still need to be aware of ways that they can defend themselves, as and when they should have to do so. Unforunately we do not leave in a violence free world and we never will and there are many people that...

Unforunately we do not leave in a violence free world and we never will and there are many people that do needless acts against people, and I do think that we should be able to learn how to protect ourselves as and when necessarily. I guarantee that you most acts of rape tend to happen by opportunists and opportune moments, not always the case of course not, but generally so. So, don't be putting yourselves in needless places and situations where those kind of things are more likely to occur. We also need to educate our children about these things so that to some large extent they can actually prevent these incidents from happening in the first place. Not all of it can be stopped no, but quite a number can be prevented from happening by educating children and mainly women about things, like not taking short cuts through parks in the dark on their own for one thing. It's little things like that, that actually can prevent things like that happening. But of course, it won't prevent all and not all is down to just that; but it might surprise some people to know that most of these things tend to happen on opportunities.
