And how long can this nation justify the use of the armed forces to "waste" individuals, often heads of state--even if the U.S. doesn't agree with the policy of a given leader, have we the right to "take them out?" Especially when we've often been instrumental in "getting them in?" I mean really. These are rhetorical questions, you realize. It's too crazy.

The degree to which war is made upon those who are defenseless upon those who are in no danger is the degree to which war is too easy. The blood spilled is remote, abstract, not human.
