it's more important to CALL your congressperson, then sign a not-as-effective petition...

I hate these petitions, because it often is used as a fundraising tool for the sponsoring organization, and prevents folks from taking more effective action, making them feel they've DONE SOMETHING, when in fact, signatures count very little...So it co-opts real action for real change...Please always encourage folks to call or write a letter or e-mail their congress people, which counts more, and to stand with folks like Occupy Atlanta, WAND, and Code Pink...But THIS one, I LIKE...even with the other caveats...

And how long can this nation justify the use of the armed forces to "waste" individuals, often heads of state--even if the U.S. doesn't agree with the policy of a given leader, have we the right to "take them out?" Especially when we've often been...

Especially when we've often been instrumental in "getting them in?" I mean really. These are rhetorical questions, you realize. It's too crazy.
