would humans want to be treated the same way as some people treat animals? If the answer is no, let's put a stop to cruelty to animals! I hope this gets set up as soon as possible! harsher sentences should apply to incorrigible people abusing animals!

This concept look good on paper. Potential for abuse if not done right, can end up as a quasi enforcement agency, many legal issues to consider. And what is this pesky send invite popup that refuse to goes off the Facebook screen?

Animals has the rights to live & be treated well so they can have a better life just the way humans desire for their life. Protector is needed to keep them safe from harm & cruelty.

I fully support......The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

Mankind's true moral test, its fundamental test (which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals. And in this respect mankind has suffered a fundamental debacle, a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it.

There must be a control of selling little animals at the pet shop, besides the profit making part for this business people, many other factors got to take note when a living thing is being sold to customers. License issue to owners for their dogs, cats or any other kind of animals, should be keep tracked by some animal depart staff to ensure the well being of the animals.

I am all hands and feet up for the setup of Animal Welfare Police! If the US, UK, Australia etc can set up one, I don't see the point why Singapore being the 1st world country has the difficulty in doing so. Relying on the government to do it is like asking a pig to climb a tree. I am very sure getting volunteers will be an easy feat when people believe in the goodness of this setup!
