In the Portland, OR area, we can do this year round - okay, maybe less so in the dead of winter, but there are still cabbages, potatoes and some greens that can grow even in the winter.

Great idea wew could do with a project like this in liverpool, all over the north, there is so many people in our communities who don't have the money to eat healthier foods. Something that's worth looking into, and be great to get the kids involved. We need to build our communities unite together, morality has faded fast.

Here in Maine the government has finally allowed people that receive food assistance to use it at the local Farmers market so people that need help feeding their families can now buy healthy fruits and veg it's a step in the right direction! I fully support the "Mind Gardens Project" I believe it is not only improving childrens nutrition it is teaching them important life lessons on many levels. Good job everyone involved! :-)
