Good on ya Bro...its when famous people like yourself get with the program of what is really going on and offer to be a part of the solution to a basic problem it can become a means of giving people the self reliance and independence they need....please hook up with permaculture people who could really help kick this thing along as they have the knowledge of how to implement and design sustainable systems...

Hope you get this comment.. keep up the great job you are doing sir..

Thank's Snoop Lion for making yourself part of the solution. When so many people stop short and can only focus on the problem it's nice to see someone else with more than a little vision taking action. With that in mind I want to put you in touch with my lawyers and donate a parcel of land to the Mind Gardens project to be used perpetually for feeding the needy. So Snoop, hit me up I got this!

There are community gardens in Sequim and Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Gardening is popular here. Apple trees also grow well here and they are numerous. We have quite a few organic farms. Even so I'm fairly sure that everyone that needs access to a community garden does not have it. More community gardens are needed. Just ask anyone that works at the food bank!

Wonderful idea and I love the name too! You might like to inquire into Kitchen Gardens International and see if they would like to participate. I would look to see if there's a WALDORF School in Jamaica. I know there are a few in Costa Rica. Someone from IFOAM www.ifoam.org might be able to offer suggestions as well. IFOAM is the Int'l Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements - the umbrella organization for everything organic, biodynamic, etc.

I cannot comment on where the next garden should go as it should go where it is most needed but I do not have access to that specific information.
