These poor animals have no ability to spek, yet they feel and need all of the help they can. Please do whatever you can, regardless of how small the action. Thank You! - Wpxi Alan Jennings.
Will do and already have. Had a cat fall through the roof of my autobody shop last Thanksgiving. He was starving, had ticks and was a mess. Now he is loved and up to full weight has two "siblings" and is the best cat I have ever had!! Next pet I will adopt a homeless pet!!
We were adopted by a Senior male Lab mix,A6yr old German Shepherd, and a 2yr old yellow female Lab. We adopted from 3 different rescues!
your the best I know!!
Sidney came from FORGOTTEN ANGELS CAT RESCUE in Santa Clarita. Lucy came from the Riverside, CA shelter. Ethel came from the Castaic Shelter and Harry was rescued by a kind soul.
Oh, how could I forget Fozz. He was rescued from a phoscheck factory in Orange County, CA.
So glad you got Harry back!!!
I haven't adopted homeless animals - they came from loving homes. However, they were both in desperate need of having new homes so I adopted them. :) I have over the years adopted pets who are homeless and I plan to adopt a homeless animal when we are ready for a new pet. :)
But Logan wasn't homeless either so it doesn't count. :p
Adoption should always be the first way to go when looking for a pet, there's no more of a rewarding feeling than knowing you've saved a life, and the love you'll get back is ten fold.
SO VERY TRUE!
The adoption option is ALWAYS the way to go :-)
To adopt is not only saving one life-but in my case 2. I was so sad after Shadow passed away-I cried EVERYDAY. I am glad I was driven to the computer where I found Dawson. He is truly a gift from God.
In 2003 a friends cat had 4 kittens but had died while giving birthto the last.
To help i agreed to take 2 of the babies.I watched them grow and start to open there eyes when one got sick at 10 days and died. The next day the other one showed the same symptoms the vet said maybe a 10% chance of surviving but after he was given fluids i took him home and held him next to my chest for about 2 hours. He wanted his bottle again and pulled through. we had a feel ough spots early on but je always pulled through. he hrew
RESPECT FOR U :) GOD BLESS U ALWAYS..LIVE LONG AND HAPPY LIFE.
I would have loved to adopt all homeless pets, but I already have four pets, al I can do is to pray to God to soften human hearts to adopt homeless pets and humans who neglected animals to repent and be more loving of carefull with animals.
I only adopt one-one at a time-they are usually large breed dogs-BUT IT IS FOREVER-I EVEN INCLUDE THEM IN MY WILL! I leave money just for them and their care in case I die 1st. They are the first mentioned in my will.
