ADOPTED PETS ARE PERFECT PETS! ALL MY PETS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ADOPTED! HOW CAN ONE NOT? A PEDIGREE IS GORGEOUS, BUT EVEN THESE PEDIGREES ARE SOMETIMES UP FOR ADOPTIONS! ALL PETS NEED LOVING AND CARING HOMES! THEY BRING SO MUCH JOY AND THEY GIVE SO MUCH LOVE! MELINDI XX
we have always adopted shelter dogs or have taken some in that were left in r front yard-we have had amazing dogs always and will forever adopt r dogs-we always have 2 at a time-one time we had 5.
Hey I'll ask my landlord, if I can adopt a homeless dog!
All three of our cats would be homeless if we didn't adopt them. I will always have shelter pets...
All my cats have been adopted from shelters. Unconditional love given and received. There is nothing like it.
All of my pets are shelter pets - and they always will be.
Chicagoland Dog Rescue. I Think they're great. They really do the best in pre-addoption medical, emotional and training, well before the dogs start their adoption process. They stand behind all their adoptions well after they've been completed. Proud papa over two rescued and pround uncle of four. The happiest pets are those that have been rescued. Check it out, I'm sure you'll agree. Keep them tails wagging. :D
Francoise I remember Lola the frightened dog,but not long before she was on the bed with the other dogs, being loved and getting her forever home with you. You are a star shining in this sky xxx
Thank you Gail , also my friend Lily here for Triple A and Stephanie Chabrier in the Dominican Republic , are marvelous ladies that saved so many pets from the street . I do my best ,but i will never stop trying saving dogs & cats like you did xxxxx love Fanfan.
Kamaka is our 2nd rescue dog. Roxy- our first - was the most amazing Rottie. Kamaka - a pit/ridge is the most social, friendly, loving, and gentle animal now that she knows she has a forever home with us. They are worth every ounce of love you give them - they both have been/are the most loyal loving animals. I will always adopt - they give so much more back to you than you give to them.
Congratulations on the new addition to your ohana. Are you going to post Kamaka's picture soon? Hugs ~
see my photos - she's the one with the short brown hair. The other one is Megan.
I have adopted/rescued 15 horses and my last was just last night I brought 2 more home and I will bring 2 or 3 more home this Sunday and I love them to death
are you the one who shot my brothers horse..i wouldnt
let you adopt anything if thats the case..just sayin...
Sidney came from FORGOTTEN ANGELS CAT RESCUE in Santa Clarita. Lucy came from the Riverside, CA shelter. Ethel came from the Castaic Shelter and Harry was rescued by a kind soul.
Oh, how could I forget Fozz. He was rescued from a phoscheck factory in Orange County, CA.
So glad you got Harry back!!!
I only ever have rescue cats. There is never a need to buy any pet, people only breed animals for money.
The people in the co-op up the road hate me. Every time someone puts up a notice for animals for sale I take it down and point out to them it is part of their company policy NOT to sell animals.
You go girl!!!!!!
Our last 3 puppies have been rescues. We wouldn't do it any other way. We have been so lucky to find them in time.
They seem to be able to find the right person at the right time.
Never "buy" a pet while so many need homes!
Just adopted my dog Max. He was taken away from his previous owner who used to cut him. Hard to believe there are such cruel people in the world. He's the best dog I've ever had.
Sounds like Max found his guardian angel.
Hi Terry, would you share Max's happy new life with us on our new action? We launched it yesterday and you can share his photo with us too! Thank you!
I have two Newfies from pups but had two rescue Newfies but lost one within three weeks of reforming due to the life she had led at a puppy farm but Millie has come on beautifully and then we have a little terrorist seriously cute though and within the same week we reformed Rosie the Saint Bernard who after a lot of issues has developed into a loving trusting girl. Do people realise what issues they create with not caring or abandoning these intelligent creatures they only want some one to care and love them.
Well done you x
wonderful dog owners XXX
Crazy lady with a big heart! Xx
Reformed is meant to be rehomed and I believe all of you are just the same as me xxx
My Brewster was about 6 or 7 years old when we adopted him a year ago. Now he is my "BOO" and in his forever home. He replaces Lil' Man, and later there will be another rescue of an older dog that needs a home as long as I have a place.
I just brought "Charlie" home yesterday from PetSmart. He was from Ramona Humane Society.
IF YOU WERE A DOG OR ANY OTHER ANIMAL WITH SUCH LOVE IN THEIR HEARTS WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO LIVE IF NOBODY HELPS THEM THEY ARE ALL LIKE US ONLY THEY CANNOT SPEAK OUR LANGUAGE.BUT THEY CAN SHOW YOU OTHER WAYS HOW THEY LOVE YOU EVEN IF THEY ARE ANGRY THEY NEED OUT LOVE..AND CARE.
after living 40 years with adopted animals I really recomend anyone to do so. you help the animals, of course, but 1st of all they help YOU to live a better life. here in germany christmas will be a desaster as any year because of the "puppy gifts" under the christmastree :( ANIMALS ARE NO TOYS!
My dogs and cat came from abandoned street. Most of them I found them a h ome.
One can Judge a nation by how it treats its animals and our nation by the looks of things is failing badly....come on these animals only want to give love....all you have to do is love them back.
Ha, I already have 2, can't remembar if they are 14 or 15 but they make the house a home along with Boo!
We Did, 5 yr old cat, what a joy.
I love animals and would adopt a cat or dog to unite with all the ones I already have.
ive had 7 rescued dogs all livin a full life with me now I'm down 2 three cudnt have asked 4 more loyal dogs wud always get a homeless dog y buy pedigree dogs when there are plenty in sanctuarys needing a new owner our local councils also rehome strays so go have a look when your lookin a new pet xx.
My mum always has "rescue" dogs (personally I prefer to think that WE rescue HER). Unfortunately I decided to run after her one day when she went to work, and haven't been able to get home since! At least she has my brother, Ollie, a beautiful cavvy (not as beautiful as me but not too bad) to console her in her grief. Hopefully I will find my way home one day and we can be our happy, complete family again.
I have 3 spca dogs , two of them spaniels. They are the most loyal , lovable companionship one can get , they all sleep in my room at night on their special dog beds. I had to house train Benji the black spaniel male and this was achieved in record time of 4/5 days , I adore my pets and hope you spread the message to all animal lovers x.
we did, its great
