Everyone who has the least shred of decency and concern for their fellow humans should sign this petition. Why should we continue to let these coal companies sacrifice our people for the sake of their wallets? This is also another reason to work on alternative, renewable fuels, so this job becomes unnecessary. These strong, determined people should be able to have a job that won't kill them! PLEASE SIGN THIS!

Please take a moment to read and consider signing this petition. My grandfather and great uncles were all coal miners as teen-agers in Southern IL. Because they all knew so many men who suffered from Black Lung they left the mines to work in the steel mills in Chicago, IL. It's time for American Corporations to ensure the health and protection of our men and women who work so hard in this country.
