If it wasn't for the music program there's no telling where he would be today but he's doing very well in college

Music is essential; like nourishment for the soul. Movement and music are keys to lifelong well-being and good mental health. Music is the universal language; it has the power to heal; it enables us to celebrate, to mourn, to work, to play. No music in school would be like no sunshine in the playground.

when it comes to our children's education, there should never be a value to what can make them expand as brighter individuals. So to this I am all in because all of our children's involvement in school should be considered Priceless! Lets keep their dreams and passion for music alive.....

MUSIC CLASSES / THERAPY, AT SCHOOLS, IN FULL-SWING, SHOULD REDUCE DRASTICALLY THE NATION'S HEALTH / HOSPITAL BUDGET.

Music is a gift from the Gods to sooth ones soul or perhaps drive it to a new height! Music was my first love and 45 years latter it is still my passion and love! I studied piano and dance from the time I was 4 and many students both privately and in schools have had the opportunity so share in my passion. I was definitely blessed by God and the Universe! We die but the Music and the seeds we have planted are eternal! Johanna

Music is the very thing that prepares and readies the brain for higher learning and intelligent thought. Cutting music programs from our schools puts our children at a serious disadvantage when compared to other nations...the top academic countries in the world place a high value on music education as centric to their students' success in science and mathematics whereas the US continues to believe focus on math science and technology will increase test scores...is it any wonder we are behind?

In my life, only family has a higher rating than music! It is truly the only universal language, transcending anything known to man and to deprive our future civilization from knowing it's endless blessings is barbaric!
