To Southern Rail, I think if this man is sacked, I think southern rail should cover every inch of rail track and renew all your fences and stop this from happening again, if you are so worrid about animals straying onto your tracks then sort your fences out.
Well said Barry x
I think its ridiculous that this poor man should suffer after showing such bravery in rescuing that poor little dog .Shame on you Southern rail .There are always exceptions to the rules .health and safety is important but so is compassion .Good luck Tom and well done for saving Teddy x
What is this world coming to? Please sign this petition!
Gene, I thought of the same lifeguard story you are referring to!
please help hope everything ok x.
sighned the portision x
This sounds like what Safeway did to the guy who stopped a customer from beating on this wife in the store. They fired him straight away. WTH?
Not cool!!!!!!You do the RIGHT thing and get fired for it?
This is ridiculous. That man is a hero! xxx
Everyone sign this petition please xxxxxx
Since when do we penalise a man for showing compassion toward another being? Tom should be praised, yet his parent company has suspended him for acting unselfishly. I'd say that company needs to rethink their moral obligation because this man needs to have a medal pinned to his lapel.
Just about sums this country up, a joke.
Have signed Nige...absolutely ridiculous how jobsworths treat people.
The Health & Safety asshats at Southern Rail should be suspended, pending investigation by SR's PR and Ethics divisions, while Tom is reinstated and celebrated as a heroic, compassionate, and admirable Hero of Mammals. Beyond that, I fully adopt and endorse the comment by Amy Lovesanimals below. Blessing be upon Tom for his direct action, and his friend Serena for bringing this injustice to my attention.
Don't trust this story.
As a rail user, I commend this gentleman for his courage & compassion! Great work, Tom!
Totally agree with you, Chris.
