this man showed compassion to a defenceless animal in danger......he should be commended for his act of kindness not ridiculed. there is not enough compassion in the world today. allow this man back to do his job.

This is just another way that the Establishment are out to get to get us - if you can't save an animal then God help us if it a human who needs help, red tape is killing us all.

so he was on duty, wasn't keeping the trackclear part of his job. the fact that he helped the dog and kept the tracks clean of danger should be praised not punished. what is this world coming to that any act of kindness gets punished.

If he gets in trouble for doing something so heroic. Then punish everyone that saves a life and has a heart not a thumping gizzard. The railway. Should be very proud to have Simone like Tom on their pay role. GGo

I tell you what Southern Rail, if there is anything I can do, I'll dam well do it. This man needs your praise not punishment. You just think on that the next time one od your trains happens to hit a piece of missing track. If you would do this to him, others will have no compassion for you. And you ain'y to big for something to happen to, not today when everyone has access to so many chemicals and things that go boom.

another example of rules over common sense and decency. Would they rather have employees who have no care or compassion for other living things - idiots!
