Last winter we had to have our friend and companion Molly euthanized. She was 9 1/2 years old and I found her when she was 6 at the Shelter after my hubby, Jim had lost his girl, Lightning. Molly came to the "Shelter" because her guardian surrendered his own life. He made sure Molly had food, water and a clean blanket to lay on. At the Shelter she was very lonesome and depressed. She wondered if anyone would ever come for her. We went for a walk and I found her to be very friendly and gentle, but sad. I asked the manager if I could foster Molly and let her get to know me. I knew I wanted her, but I didn't know if she would be happy with me. When it was time for Molly and me to leave she followed me to my truck and as soon as I opened the door she jumped in and sat on the seat, looking at me like, "come on let's get going." When we arrived home, Molly wasted no time in finding her place to call her own, "Jim's chair." We who also live here call it "The Archie Bunker Chair". Molly took it over, but every time Jim left it, there was Molly. She even worked her way into Jim's heart and became his lap dog. I adopted Molly, but really she wanted to be Jim's girl. Please join with Jim & me in support of this worthy cause!

I recently had to have my "pound puppy", Katie Scarlett, (17 yrs. old), humanely euthanized. She was approximately 1 1/2 yrs. old when we adopted her, it was an exceptionably difficult decision that we had to make! As I am sure, many of our animal loving friends have also endured! I hope you will join me in support of this worthy cause!

It's amazing what a warm bed can do for one of these precious animals.. or the joy a toy can bring to a sad pup.... Let's help out, for a small amount we can make a HUGE difference in their lives.... It's worth it!

I'm so glad people support animal wellbeing.
This is one of the many reasons why I am studying to become a veterinarian<3.
