It is a disgrace when the disabled get treated like this. We are supposed to be a civilised society and now they are throwing them to the wolves so to speak.

the disabled are always the first to get hit, why should druggie and alkies get dla when their "ilness or illnesses are brought on themselves, myself or my child had no option with ours so why should we be made to feel guilty for NOTbeing able bodied.

When disabled people vote in large numbers for those politicians who are most likely to show support for us, we'll do better.

I thought that in 1997 Paul but was let down badly by the Blair/Brown administration! When out of office a political party will tell you ANYTHING to get you to vote for them - when they get ellected they do as they please. 5 years is too long for a term in office - 4 years should be the limit and we will see who comes up with the goods!

I was disables at 50 from a job I had messed up hands and took 3 surgeries to fits and also mess up my right shoulder with torn rotator cuff so I really know how much a disabled person needs help no matter what age.

THE GOVERNMENT IS TAKING MONEY FROM TRULY DISABLED PEOPLE SO THEY CAN GIVE THE CASH TO ILLEGAL ALIENS, THAT'S WHY I SIGNED ON THIS EARLY SUNDAY MORNING, SO I COULD EXPRESS MY OUTRAGE UPON LEARNING THAT THE LEFT IN POWER ARE PUSHING WELFARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY ON ILLEGALS. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH BULLSHIT IN MY LIFE! AND WHEN I SIGNED ON, IRONICALLY, GERRY HAD POSTED THE STOP THE GOVERNMENT FROM TAKING BENEFITS FROM THE TRULY DISABLED PETITION. I DIDN'T WORK BACK TO BACK JOBS WHEN I WAS IN...

I DIDN'T WORK BACK TO BACK JOBS WHEN I WAS IN BETTER HEALTH SO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS COULD RECIEVE SOCIAL SECURITY, IT'S BASICALLY LIKE THE LEFT IS SAYING "F*** YOU TO LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, WHO WENT THROUGH OUR SYSTEM TO BECOME AMERICANS AND ALSO TO DISABLED AMERICANS WHO PAID INTO THE SYSTEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! IT HAS TO STOP, WE CAN'T AFFORD THESE POLICIES AND I FOR ONE, AM NOT GOING TO ALLOW THE LIBERALLS TO BANKRUPT OUR COUNTRY JUST SO THEY CAN EXPERIMENT ON THEIR SOCIAL RE-ENGINEERING POLICIES!

Further benefit cuts would be impossible. Planning Law needs reforming, so let's not all look in one direction.

I hope to God this never happens, but, if George Osborne suffers a catastrophic road crash and then is left worrying about the future and if he will receive benefits? Would his view change then?

Alastair Slater

And then when his benefits are agreed, would he want the uncertainty of having them reviewed every now and again at a moments notice, maybe randomly stopped, altered? The uncertainty, insecurity, on top of the problems with being disabled.

Please, if I am to be given more or less benefits, can this be decided soon, and if so, can that decision be for a reasonable length of time before the next rumoured upheaval?
