I signed. I lost my daughter to ALL/leukemia at 5 years old. I hope his movie flops.
I signed it too. This is a disgrace.
I am outraged at Universal Studios for showing no respect for the children who have passed and those who are still living. These kids go through so much at a young age. My beautfiul daughter, Jessica, was diagnosed at age 3 in December 2003 and lost her battle at age 7 January 16, 2008. She went through chemo, surgeries, radiation, bone marrow transplant, more chemo and was so sick. She took meds several times a day. She went to Kindergarten for 1/2 a year, never saw the inside of her...

She went through chemo, surgeries, radiation, bone marrow transplant, more chemo and was so sick. She took meds several times a day. She went to Kindergarten for 1/2 a year, never saw the inside of her 1st grade classroom. On her Kindergarten graduation she was in the bone marrow unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital receiving her bone marrow transplant. All she wanted was to be a normal kid. Unfortunately she wasn't. We had to keep her in when counts were low. She missed out on a lot and so did we. All of us families who have gone through this whether our kids have passed or survived are always wanting more on Childhood Cancer Awareness. This is not the way we want it. I will be praying for you all that you think before doing something like this again.
You said it all Teresa!!!
Amen!!! That's one movie we won't be seeing!!!
I refuse to see it.
Devastating. My son is a 3x cancer survivor and he is only 11. We were in treatment with beautiful Sal as well. Getting pediatric cancer is not a joke...What these children must endure simply to LIVE a life is inhumane. Shame on you.
Signed! That is beyond appalling!!
Signed. That is absolutely disgusting...
uugghhh so many typeo's, but think it makes sense anywat
Signed it, I don't get how anyone could use cancer as a joke, especially joking about the most innocent and precious human beings on the planet, our children.
Cancer is stealing precious lives
It is heart-sickining and appaling to see that children with cancer are treated in such a manner with a joke that was commented in the movie called Ted.....It is Cold hearted and Inconsiderate.
I wonder if any of the people connected with the movie have children that have cancer,or other illnesses. I hope they don't,but they need to open their eyes and realize how horrible it is to joke about precious children with cancer.
I have this on my wall also.
Thank you Ella, for sharing..it is so heart-breaking <3
I agree Rosey that's for sure. There are some mean spirited, heartless, etc. people around this world, and they are the ones that should go first. It is so very very sad for these poor children. Thank God for Danny and Marlo Thomas for creating St. Jude's Hospital that has helped so many of these children. R.I.P. Mr. Thomas -- THANK YOU.
Glad to sign and lend support to this cause. In adults and children, cancer and our treatment protocols are horrific.
How was the Avon walk? Did you finish?
Nanci, Avon walk is in October. I'm still training and fund-raising!
guess i mistook your training achievement for the start of the walk ;-r
I am signing this petition on behalf of my friend Nocholas who died recently of childhood cancer.
Sign, share, repeat. xoxo
My husband and I saw this movie. I was in shock and very upset when this kid cancer joke was made. I don't see how this is funny! I lost my 16 yr. old daughter, Paige Nicole Haney, to cancer in 2008, after she battled the disease 3 different times, 3 different cancers.
