So sad what this world is coming too, when we can make fun of something as serious as this.

I had no idea. I will NOT see this movie. Children are dying every day of cancer and for anyone to make a joke of it is shameful.

This is abosultely disgusting! I know many people found that movie funny, but I will not watch it now because of this. I understand it was a joke, but coming from a mother who has a 3 year old son that has leukemia, I am disgusted. As others have stated, the producers probably never dealt with childhood cancer within their families.
Keep passing this on! Sign the petition.

signed. cannot believe they used childhood cancer as a joke in TED.

Am I missing something? - there is nothing remotely funny in this comment - quite the opposite, vulgar, crude and very obviously uneducated. That's with my 'independent' head on, and not the Mum who lost her child at age 7.

This makes me very sad that they would make jokes about childhood cancer! They should take trips through every pediatric cancer ward and see first up what they children go through! Even one trip through them does not show all the suffering these little kids deal with and all they have to go through to try and stay alive! One trip would not show the pain and hurt these parents deal with. Too many of these children will not even get the chance to go to a movie, or play, or do anything...
