What motivation do you think exists for health care providers to encourage or promote a healthy population when their sole source of revenue and profit is the result of sick people and return customers; My suggestion Vitamins/Minerals Eat less Eat Better and grow your own food and meat when able and neither depend on nor trust the Government to take care of you try doing it yourself.

These are unregulated, mostly for profit hospitals. Has nothing to do with the government which has been encouraging growing your own food, and helping people get seeds and know how to do it.

No, I will not sign it. You don't want it, don't order it. I agree with Brian if someone is on their death bed they should be able to have a burger and fries. People need to stop trying to take away our right to choose what we want. Worry about your own life.

no one is taking your right, but at the same time at a Hospital serving bad food is not good for the patient. if a hospital is gonna serve food their options have to follow health guidelines otherwise whats the purpose. oh yeah i forgot everyone is looking for some magic fix it pill.

No, I will not sign this... I mean, for the love of God if I were in the hospital on my death bed, I'd want a last cheeseburger before I died!

My hope would be that you would have a kind friend or family member who'd go to McDonald's or Burger King or wherever you'd want it from and get it for you.

If you were on your death bed, would your family want to leave knowing you could die, literally, any time? I know I would be hesitant to leave.

In order to heal a person should be offered healthy food. It would not be any more expensive since there is a lot of Hospital food not eaten, therefore wasted. I know it is difficult to cook large amounts of food at one time but it should , at least, be recognizable.

It's an unforgiveable shame.. I can see the business idea though..., it guarantees new patients forever..

Well people seem to want to die so let them go a bit faster. Those who chose can be responsible for their health ... All the evidence is out there for us to choose n money can't be blamed for this one! It's cheap to eat healthy.

I was in a heart hospital thinking I was having a Heart Attach that evening the lights went out and no electricity had temp lights so they ran next door and got us all cheese burgers/fries & coke to eat,, unbelievable, you don't need electricity to made a salad and some fruit....Doctors need to step up to the plate in the hospitals they are working at and demand better healthy foods for their patiences.

............. I live in Prato, Tuscany, Italy and even if ready foods for childrens are causing a lot damages, at the best of my knowledge, italian hospitals do not serve high-cholesterol foods and processed meats...
I do agree, rather than fried chicken and hot dogs dripping in grease, hospital cafeterias should serve low-fat, plant-based menus items rich in fruits and vegetables, for sure!
