Greed for money!
I hope that this important part of the world's ecology and local habitat will be protected from exploitation by short sighted industrial land grabbing. If citizens around the world can mobilize to push back effectively at the Wild Coast, it should give us the momentum to protect other coastal and undeveloped areas from the same fate.
I like Richard Spoor's comment - "Mining the Pondoland Wild Coast is the moral, cultural and aesthetic equivalent of quarrying Ayers Rock for granite, or the Great Barrier Reef or calcium carbonate" Go do it to your own country and leave ours alone!
Ek stem saam, teken net die petisie! Every voice against this can work....
Teken die petisie, dit help!
This has been on the books for a while, we can't let it happen... please join me and sign this petition! This is some of the most beautiful coast in the world, our 'government' would like to sell it for mining purposes. Greed yet again.
May this beautiful stretch of land remain so for many generations to come.
How greed can just ruin a whole beautiful pristine stretch of coastline in South Africa, ignoring its people and their culture.
I have visited the wild coast in South Africa, I enjoyed the beautiful and wild village Port St Johns, the nature is absolutely amazind and beautiful. We must save the wild coast and the biodiversity there. Please sign the petition. Thanks Casper to send me it.
This goverment can, t keep its sticky fingers off anything that's beautiful they just have to go and dig a hole in it!
