Eina! This hurts. This pain is deep deep within me.
A broken bone on one humans can heal.
Once earth is mined, once people have been undermined... there is no healing.
This earth is destroyed.
The people are emotionally and culturally destroyed.
If "our" "leaders".
could feel for the 7th generation,
would remember ancestors,
hear the human hearts living NOW on this land...
Instead of corporate rhetoric, a chess game of consumerism, corruption with NO consequence!
they won't stop until the last drop of oil has been taken out Geoffrey. this is the way of the homo sapien

Christina Fattori - doesn't have to be Christina. All it takes is a bit more education & a lot less GREED! YOU CANNOT EAT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way of the human animal....we come, we see, we destroy. There's not too many of us left that understand that taking dominion is the wrong path to follow. We should all do as our ancestors did and live among and with not above and against.
Yep....Its a shame the Native Americans of U.S.A. didnt have petitions and F.B. to save this country from what is being done.
Actually.. this is NOT the way... they are slapping humanity in the face!!!!
Cant sign? please advise
If you have been here only once, then you don't need to be convinced, just do your bit. The fact that the Aussies want to come and konkel in our own back yard should be the sweetner....DO IT, Just Sign....
It is so important to be able to tell our children we did something against this outrage, this greed and destruction.
Please lets do something.........................
Please leave the Wild Coast alone. You don't need it.
this is awful, bloody humans at it again.
Power to the people! keep the wild coast free.
just greed and no thought for the rest of the population and future generations.....
There is so little left of our country that is still so special and beautiful , please don't destroy this wonderful area!

In life if we do not leave a legacy behind for the greater good then we are also guilty as we will be part of this moral decay.lust for money and greed.

This goverment CANNOT be trusted there is NO transparency with their mining dealings. Their motto is Be secret and serve self first. We are being insulted.
This is important for the local communities on the Wild Coast
MY MOST FAVOURITE PLACE IN SOUTHAFRICA,, WANT TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER THERE TO SEE AND FEEL THE UNTOUCHED BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE...LETS STOP WITH THE DESTRUCTION ALREADY, FIND ANOTHER WAY,, WE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO GO TO THE MOON FOR HEAVENS SAKE.IM SURE WE CAN FIGURE THIS OUT.
Wow! It looks so beautiful! Let's go!
Just can't happen to one of the world's most beautiful coastlines.
What the ffffffffffffffffff - they can't - thats dispicable!!! Should be a natural heritage site? I thought it was = protected???
This place is sacred. Save the planet, nature and all the creatures of mother earth and you save the human race.
such a beautiful part of south africa_ more need to be done to grow tourism there....make it affordable yet comfortable for ordinary south africans.
I call on the South African Government to honour its international commitment to conserve biodiversity, and declare the Wild Coast a No-Go area for mining once and for all! Please add your signature.
The very thought of turning this pristine area into another South African embarrassment makes me furious. Shame on you Minister Shabangu! Are the departments of the Environment, Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Mineral Resources and all the others involved, advising their respective ministers or is it the old story of I can do as I like I'm a Minister. Do these ministers ever listen to their advisers? They may start listening to the voters who put them in their positions. We'll wait and see.
