This is sadly reminiscent of what went on in the days of Apartheid!
The Wild Coast is a beautiful area that needs to be protected as a nature reserve.
What this part of the country needs is an effort to re-establish sustainable farming and forestry, not to plunder the land for temporary profit from a wasting resource.
This is not good news, leave it alone.
I would love to visit this area of the Wild Coast one day and would like very much for my children's children to have the same opportunity!
This is just a foot in the door. Once they're in, there's no telling how far the destruction will go. And whilst you're signing this petition, pse give support for those of us fighting against fracking in the Karoo - the government seems eager for the R1.8billion they've been promised if they allow "exploratory" fracking!
sign here please everyone and save the wild coast!
Our landscape is so beautiful, why the need to muck it up. Why does greed have to overcome common sense. It really shouldn't be that way!
We have received this beautiful pristine Wild Coast, ours to delight in, cherish and pass on unspoilt to future generations.
Its about time we realised that this world will not sustain us if we keep raping its resources without regard for our environment stop the mining now.
