What everyone out there who is reading this should and must do, if you agree that something should be done to help our brothers and sisters in the military, is get involved in whatever way you can, whether it is to call your local and state representatives and your congressman to tell them that you feel it is absolutely necessary that they support any and all programs that are designed to help US Military Veterans who have been honorably discharged from their service to our country and are...

What everyone out there who is reading this should and must do, if you agree that something should be done to help our brothers and sisters in the military, is get involved in whatever way you can, whether it is to call your local and state representatives and your congressman to tell them that you feel it is absolutely necessary that they support any and all programs that are designed to help US Military Veterans who have been honorably discharged from their service to our country and are disabled, either mentally or physically or both through no fault of their own but because of their sacrifice have become so disabled with the necessary programs that are now currently available through the Veteran's Administration Medical Centers. I also humbly suggest that all of you out there get on those same people to get onto the Military top brass to make the necessary changes to their way of doing things because of the Military's long storied history of treating its members like chattle, like property to be discarded after it is no longer useful. Thank you all for your support. We Veterans greatly appreciate it.

thank you for your service. I am a Blue star mom and my heart is so burdened by all the suicides from these wonderful people who have served and need to be rewarded and helped.

The DoD is cutting the Active Duty forces and relying on the Reserve and NG components so they won't have to pay out the funds. Anyone who has to serve as an active duty person should have the same medical enefits and privilages for their injuries and medical care…they are not 2nd class soldiers who drink beer and play cards on training week-ends as they once were perceived as doing. They have to come up to standards to be deployed.

It boggles my mind that there are people out there who think that other people somehow deserve a "worse" health plan than others. All soldiers should qualify. They risk their lives for us, we should thank them *all* equally.

As a major in Psychology , it is a very fast developing problem , especially on the military and law enforcements members! Something has to be done a.s.a.p! We owe it to them , to help them! THEY have done and paid for their dues! We are free becuz they stood up for us , let us not let them down!

Did the robber barons and Tammany Hall of the 19th and 20th century have morals? Did the spin on legitimizing gangsters like Al Capone further the promotion of virtue? Did the blacks and Chinese of the 19th and 20th centuries have rights? Mankind is in a fallen state. We NEVER had morals.

Although in Vietnam we had won it with Tet of 1968, all we needed to do at that point was to shove 6 brigades across the D.M.Z. and Ho Chi Mihn would have surrendered. Instead the U.S. people fell for the crap spewed by Cronkite and others. Yes, in May of 1975 Saigon fell I was with the 25th Infantry Division @ Schofield Barracks at that time and we were packed and ready to go into Saigon to help evacuate our people... Yes, in May of 1975 Saigon fell I was with the 25th Infantry Division @ Schofield Barracks at that time and we were packed and ready to go into Saigon to help evacuate our people... Now with Afghanistan we are fighting 4 fronts not a single front. We are fighting the Taliban and other Islamic extremists. Next we are fighting people who bitterly cling to a 7th Century mind set. We are fighting to allow girls and women to have a good education, that goes against the first 2 points. Lastly we have people in our own government who are supporters of Islam, one in the highest office of the land. Now I agree it's time to cut our losses and head home. Fighting 4 battles at the same time, one can't win, because your mind must be on one fight at a time.

They have protected us, now it's our tine to help them. It 's just a shame that it has to come to something like having to sign a petition. What is wrong with these people. They will pack them up and send them off and forget about them.

I can't even believe there is a website like this out there! Who are these people and why do they even live in this country? Our MILITARY men and women are the reason we have the rights and privileges that we do!
