This site has a statement on the first page that says, "There is no scientific controversy about the safety or effectiveness of vaccines. This Cause is..." How is that so? There is very much controversary reference the flu shot! Go to www.phmiracleliving.com and then say that there are no controversaries about flu shots! Go to Article section and type in" flu" or "vaccination," etc.

The statement didn't say there was no controversy. It said there is no *scientific* controversy. There is also no medical controversy. While there are plenty of anti-vaccine activists who would like to stir up a controversy, the science says that the vaccine is safe and relatively effective.

Probably no less than drinking 3 pH sodas with sugar all day long. Or highly processed foods that cause severely low pH's, hence, diseases. There is NO scientific evidence that flu shots stop the flu! The negative side of vaccines far outweigh any positive effects on the body. The shots are acidic. BTW, have you cared to see a scientific perspective of Dr. Robert Young's, a dedicated microbiologist, with decades of research behind him? I would like to hear your take on the articles concerning flu and other vaccines.

I am now 47. I've never had a flu shot and I've never had the flu. Lucky? Not sure, but I sure don't like the idea of getting one.

I am required to get a flu shot or wear a surgical mask at the hospital where I work, and as a chaplain, I think people would find me wearing a mask while ministering to them a little off-putting. The shot this year did cause more side effects, probably because I also was suffering from allergies when I got the shot, but a couple days of mild fatigue and achiness is worth it if it means I am less likely to spread the flu to a vulnerable population.

if you wore the mask you could draw a big smile on it - to cover no matter you feel ;-)

After reading the comments against vaccination and the complete lack of credible evidence shown as well as the promotion of fake cures I will get the shot. It's the only responsible choice compared to the conspiracy theories and plain fraudulent alternate cures

forgive me for not being so hot on flu shots. i have had several and only had radical reations. since my last flu shot in 1997 i have not taken another. i had the flu once a few years after but it was very mild. i am a person though that could die from the flu,so i will be keeping an eye on any new information that would convince me it would behove me to get another shot. thank you..

There is credible evidence, as a Med researcher you would be expected to have the skills to find it. If you have not then you either are not very good at research or refuse to look at the research with an unbiased view point. This type of response post you have provided is merely a redherring and moving the goal posts logical falacy with a dash of strawman thrown in. Reading the post suggetsed the onus was on the anti vacination position to present credible evidence of their positive claims....

I get mine every year, had one Tuesday 9/18. So far I haven't had the flu and I don't think that is a coincidence. But to each his own!

I don't get flu shots and I don't get the flu either. I just eat healthy! Especially vitamin C, it wards off all colds. Flu shots are another "product" by Big Pharma to make another (billion) bucks. You never hear them advising to eat healthy! They don't do nutrition. They do chemicals that wreak havoc on your bodies and the environment. These medicines get into the water supply through people's urine, and guess what, it is not filtered out by municipal water plants. So everyone is drinking...

Around a third of all people with the flu don't have symptoms. You could be passing it on to an 80 year old who will die of the flu, and you won't even know you have it.

Daniel Weinstein

Lacie Parker Not so. The flu shot dramatically reduces your chance of catching the flu, and it dramatically reduces your chance of passing it on. It's like brakes on a car. They will fail sometimes but that doesn't mean you don't want brakes on your car. Please read about vaccines. They aren't 100%. No one claims that. They are just dramatically better than not having a vaccine.

Jacque Christy, It's very sad when you start throwing around Big Pharma Shill arguments. It simply means that you have run out of ideas. When you claim cancer was cured (which one? all 200+ of them?) you out yourself as a kook.
