there used to be a time when dental coverage was part of medical coverage (1990). now, everything is split up, costs more, and insures less. I am diabetic. dental issues can cause me more than dental problems. several years ago I had a tooth that was crumbling in my mouth that I could do nothing about because I couldn't afford coverage or extractions. thank God there is a dental organization in Rochester, NY, that provides one free extraction or a cleaning once a year. I was able to get in on that. I waited 6 hours but I got the service I needed. we either need more of these types of generous organizations, in all states, or affordable dental coverage with affordable co-pays.

If you need dental care, do like everyone else does, get a job! If you can't get a job, elect a new president! Problem solved.

I have had an infected tooth for a long time because my dentist says the health insurance should cover it and the doctor says the dental insurance should cover it and NEITHER DOES! STOP THIS NONSENSE NOW PLEASE.

My own teeth have mostly rotted out because I can not afford the 8500.00 the dentist wants to fix them. I am disable and only make 1200.00 a month. I can't even afford health care and can not get Medicare till 2014. Medicaid says I make too much in Social Security to qualify. But we keep allowing illegal to get free health care. I have worked and paid taxes over 45 years though.
