As a beekeeper I was amazed when we traveled to the Smokey.
Mountains how well the bees do there. They have no crop fields nearby, not a lot of chemical spraying. We live in Ohio with a golf course connecting on one side of the property and crop fields on the other sides. I experience at least 50% loss of bees per year, I cannot help but believe it is from these chemicals used heavily all around me. I believe it is not possible to have a Roundup-resistant seed which is also good for human consumption. Toxins in Roundup-ready crops are resulting in mass production of lentils and other staples across india with little or no nutritional benefit. Medical professionals are already seeing a rise in obesity, diabetes and heart disease resulting from poor diet. As Monsanto meet resistance in one country they will simply switch to other markets.
