I LIKE THIS.
I take my grandson to the library and will encourage him to get his own library card as soon as he is a first grader.
My family & I have active library cards. The library offers many inexpensive programs for all age groups. It gives us access to computers.knowledgeable librarians, and tutoring in many subjects. The Library also has community service opportunities as well as paid positions. It is VERY important to keep the library open for these reasons and many more.
Yet, public libraries must now don a brave face in the struggling economy; they remain heavily dependent upon a receding tax base for their primary funding source. But, the crucial role that libraries play in our communities means that we can’t allow them to fall prey to financial issues and jurisdictional debates. The more people with library cards out there, the more community advocates public libraries gain – people who’ll petition against attempts to cut back on library services through future budget cuts.
lets act on late S.R. Ranganathan's laws- every book its reader, every reader his/her book.
Our local library is one of our favorite hang out spots, Gershom Ben Jehuda.
Please obtain a library card if you don't have one.
Already have library card and use it regularly. Hardly ever buy a book as library has very good range
When my brother and I were little, my mom took us to the library and got us each a library car. I still have that same card and use it very regularly. I love the Library! I was very against e-readers for a while but finally bought my nook and love it but I always make a point to go to the library one a month! Parents should take there children to libraries!
This hurts my heart......something must be done! I agree with Kristopher doin't give this officer a gun.
